We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program manager for a Professional Services team. Responsible for leading the management and execution of the migration and implementation of Cloudflare solutions. This role requires a strong focus on project management, customer satisfaction, on time completion of projects, leading the team that provide technical consulting, implementation, and support services to customers.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in professional services, SaaS industry experience, program/project management, and customer relationship management. Responsibilities
- Project manage a team of professionals that provide technical consulting, implementation, and support services to customers.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and vendors to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring that professional services engagements are delivered on-time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.
- Develop and implement processes and methodologies that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of professional services delivery.
- Develop proposals and value propositions for Services engagements from inception through delivery for new and upgraded services
- Resolving conflict between the proposal team and other organizational units in a satisfactory manner, including engaging management as necessary
- Act as the primary point of contact for Account Executives (AEs) and Account Teams when a services opportunity is identified.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition from opportunity identification to project delivery.
- Collect feedback and document lessons learned from completed engagements for continuous improvement.This role will be responsible for adding efficiency to our operations and enabling us to move faster and more efficiently
- Creating internal guides and external customer-facing assets that support successful Project execution.
- Developing and delivering change management planning in support of new processes and frameworks.
- Gathering valuable feedback from Executives and Account Teams that drives continuous improvement
- Understanding and demonstrating your ability to successfully launch Projects at scale, with minimal hands-on guidance, that serves both our growing CS team as well as a large global customer base.

- Good understanding of how the Internet works, Networking and Security, Zero Trust Services/SASE, DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, APIs and related technologies

About the role
Cloudflare provides consultative and hands-on-keyboard implementation and migration services for enterprise customers. As a Professional Services Consultant for Network Services, you are an individual contributor working in the post-sales landscape, responsible for the technical execution of solutions and guidance to our customers to get the most value possible from their Cloudflare investment. You are a security expert and have experience with ZTNA, Data Loss Prevention, Email security, CASB, SASE.
This position has working hours Monday to Friday 09:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. Occasionally, we support our customers during the weekends for specific changes that need to be done outside of their business hours. Travel is expected around 30%.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Product Manager of Professional Services, specifically in Network Services.
- Prioritizes and executes on building offerings based on alignment with strategic vision.
- Review information gathered by PS Leaders and Consultants to understand offering value propositions.
- Execute on building PS offerings based on direction from Leadership.
- Builds sales collateral, scoping guidelines, project plans, delivery kits/accelerators.
- Lead efforts to create and maintain selling and delivery enablement.
- Creates service offerings that are in-line with quick wins.
- Focuses on a-la-carte add-on services and packaged services targeting different customer profiles, e.g., Mid-Market, Enterprise, etc.
- Demonstrates good communication skills across the PS organization (Delivery Leaders, Engagement Management, Consulting Delivery) and Customer Success team.
- Own and launch internal and external marketing campaigns (e.g. blog posts, videos, webinars, internal enablement, presentation on worldwide field calls, regional leader calls, etc.) about new or improved offerings.
- Drive the team's comprehensive understanding of Cloudflare's platform and capabilities, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting, ensuring collective expertise within the practice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, minimum 5 years experience working in a technical support, security operations center or other highly technical team.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Professional Services, Project Management, or a customer-facing role.
- Strong understanding of the Professional Services landscape, including both internal and partner-provided services.
- Proven prior work experience as a Product Manager, Practice Manager, Implementation Manager, and/or Solutions Engineer.
- Knowledge and familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Demonstrated progressive relevant experience defining, developing, and executing training strategies, operations and action plans.
- Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to customer and Professional Services audiences (mostly technical).
- Proven ability to effectively interact with and influence senior executives and team members.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Hands-on experience implementing and managing content delivery network (CDN), distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) protection, web application firewall (WAF), load balancing, and other related solutions for clients across various industries.

Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
- For Colorado, New York and Texas based: Estimated annual salary of $135,000.00 - $65,000.00
- For New York City, Washington, DC Metro and California based (excluding Bay Area): Estimated annual salary of 149,000.00 - 182,000.00
- For San Francisco Bay Area based hires: Estimated annual salary of 156,000.00 - 190,000.00

- Plan and deliver timely and organized services for customers, ensure customers see the full value in Cloudflare's products and advice on product best practices.
- Gather business and technical requirements, use cases and any other information required to build, migrate and deliver a solution on behalf of the customer and transition the Cloudflare working environment to the customer. Produce a Solution Design, HLD, LLD, databuilds, procedures, scripts, test plans, drawings, deployment plan, migration plan, as-builts, and any other artifacts necessary to deliver the solution and transition smoothly into the customer's technical teams.
- Implement changes on behalf of the customer in the Cloudflare environment following the customer's change management process. Provide guidance to the customer to configure their CPEs and integration points.
- Troubleshoot implementation issues and collaborate with Customer Support, Engineering and other teams to assist technical escalations.
- Contribute towards the success of the organization through knowledge sharing activities such as contributing to internal and external documentation, answering technical Q&A, and helping to iterate on best practices. Support building operational assets like templates, automation scripts, procedures, workflows, etc.
Experience might include a combination of the skills below:
- 5+ years of experience working in a customer-facing technical implementation or onboarding team, security engineering team, security operations center or other highly technical team
- Layers and protocols of the OSI model, such as TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP
- Deep understanding of Internet and Security technologies such as SWG, Sandboxing, Firewalls, DLP, and VPNs
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust technologies such as Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Remote Browser Isolation (RBI), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), CASB and Cloud Email Security
- Deep understanding of SSO, ADFS, LDAP and SAML and the role of the IdP for SSO. Security aspects of an internet property, such as Firewalls, WAFs, Bot Management, Rate Limiting, (M)TLS
- Performance aspects of an internet property, such as Speed, Latency, Caching, HTTP/2, TLSv1.3
- Network transformation technologies such as MPLS, SD-WAN or WAN Optimization
- Ability to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands
- The work will be performed in English. Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese would be a strong advantage
Demonstrated technical experience (hands-on-keyboard) with:
- Experience working with Reverse & Forward proxies with Content Filtering & DLP technologies
- Software distribution & deployment in Microsoft, Mac and Linux environments
- Detailed working knowledge of web based security, network segmentation, security proxies, Firewalls and NGFWs, SSL/IPSec and SSL/TLS VPN appliances & services, etc

Preferred but not mandatory:
- Software distribution via Mobile Device Management platforms
