Clark College is currently seeking to fill part-time Cybersecurity Professor positions. These positions have an opportunity for a hybrid schedule with the option of a combination of two days worked from home and three days worked on campus.
These Professors are responsible to teach a variety of introductory and foundational courses in one or more of the following topics:
- Python programming, for students new to programming
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- IoT, especially breadboard, sensors, Raspberry Pi/Arduino
- Big data analytics (Hadoop, AWS)
- CompTIA PenTest+
- CompTIA CySA+

- Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.

- Leads the development and teaching of standard work related to medical practice based on best practice, continuous learning and improvement, and compliance with rules and standards of practice.
- Engages in regular meetings with LMPs to observe, mentor and coach these front line teams in a manner that creates a culture of accountability, fosters continual improvement and staff wellness.
- Ensures availability of adequate primary care staffing working closely with the Clinic Managers and provider schedulers. The OHSU Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is part of the Department of Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and encompasses the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center and Digestive Health Center.
The Hepatology and Liver Transplant Program provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for a spectrum of liver diseases. In anticipation of future challenges in the field, our team is currently developing multidisciplinary programs to diagnose and treat non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). The transplant program has a long track record of success with more than 1,000 patients transplanted since 1988 and 80-90 liver transplants annually.
Function/Duties of PositionThe Medical Director of liver transplant provides leadership for OHSU liver transplant program in the division of gastroenterology and hepatology for OHSU. This position is responsible for the collaborative leadership of the program in conjunction with other leaders at OHSU, specifically the surgical director of liver transplant. This position is responsible for the growth and improvement of the clinical effort to assess patients for liver transplant and lead the effort in listing appropriate patients for liver transplant.
The duties of this position also include providing patient care in the Hepatology clinic, clinic equivalent in the areas of general endoscopy; attending between 8 and 12 weeks each year on the Hepatology consult service; sharing night/weekend call responsibilities with other GI/Hepatology faculty members; and teaching medical students, residents, and GI fellows during the course of the year.
- 7 half days of clinic/clinic equivalents during non-attending weeks. The outpatient responsibilities will be at the discretion of the Division Head and can be changed based on divisional needs. The following plan is proposed for 2024-2025:
- Five half days of Hepatology Clinic (1-2 Transplant Clinic, 3-4 General Hepatology)
- Two half days of outpatient endoscopy
- Attending responsibilities - 8 to 12 weeks per year in rotation with other faculty. During attending rotations, you will be expected to supervise GI fellows, complete all inpatient Hepatology consultations, and perform endoscopic procedures on inpatients and complex outpatients at the hospital endoscopy unit or ICU. During the attending rotation, you will not have other afternoon outpatient obligations and will receive full credit for these afternoon outpatient clinics.
- 5+ years as a practicing Transplant Hepatologist at an accredited Liver Transplant Center(s)
- Individual must be board certified in Gastroenterology and board eligible or certified in Transplant Hepatology
- Must have completed a course of advanced training in Transplant Hepatology
- Unrestricted Oregon medical license or ability to obtain
- Advanced training in medical education
