Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Complete cost allocation plans for assigned clients.

- Obtain contract renewals for multiple clients.

- Manage relationships with multiple clients as well as project staff responsible for projects.

- Support leadership in ensuring that the project is delivered to specifications, on time and within budget.

- Track the status and due dates of projects.

- Collaborate with project managers on various initiatives and projects to track progress and provide support as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in related field.

- Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of Project Management experience for large systems projects.

- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience directly related to large public sector projects that include industry-standard and best practices. Preferably working in Health and Human Services.

- Must be willing and able to travel to client locations in California as needed.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI)Advanced Degree preferred.

    • Prepare summary reports for senior leadership highlighting deliverable status and any concerns related to grant-funded activities
    • Develop comprehensive project plans for the HIP program outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
    • Coordinate project teams, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and facilitating effective communication among team members.
    • Track project milestones and deliverables, adjusting plans and schedules as required to accommodate changes or unforeseen challenges.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for the HIP program and other project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. 

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in health administration, Public Health, Health Sciences, or related field required. Master’s degree .

Skills, Licensure, and Knowledge Requirements

  • Two (2) or more grant management experience
  • Knowledge of public health insurance programs, including LA HAP and Medicaid, .
  • Strong relationship-building, advocacy, and public speaking skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and stakeholder engagement.
