These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members. As a Field Site Manager, you will be using your skills and expertise to oversee the maintenance servicing, repairing, inspecting, and overhauling of our aircraft and/or aircraft systems and subsystems to ensure that our aircraft and/or systems are in an airworthy condition and are safe for flight. You'll also ensure that all of our customer issues are satisfactorily resolved in a timely and efficient manner. The Field Site Manager II will be the senior SNC representative for the field site. The Field Site Manager II will also provide input to program management for budgetary requirements.

**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
+ B.A. (or equivalent degree) - a higher level degree may substitute for relevant experience
+ **Typically, 8+ years of progressive aviation experience, which includes 4+ years of management experience.**
+ Experience with the practical application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices
+ Progressive experience with Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection processes and procedures and/or returning planes to service
+ Ability to understand and execute contract documents such as Performance Work Statement (PWS)
+ Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
+ Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certification and Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation

This position is for the role of a Training Unit Project Manager to be initially at **Edwards AFB, CA** , with relocation to future CONUS locations upon completion of job training and site activations.
You will be responsible for:
+ Overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing training projects, records management, scheduling, and serves as liaison between program management and planning, project team, and unit management supporting the Formal Training Functional Areas.
+ Managing status of projects, budgets, and schedules.
+ Preparing status reports.
+ Assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
+ Developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program managers and customers.

**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 9 years of relevant professional / military experience in Project Management, OR a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant professional / military Project Management experience, OR a Master's degree and at least 3 years of relevant professional / military Project Management experience OR a PhD and at least 1 year of relevant professional / military Project Management experience
+ Must have experience in Agile Methodology, Control Account Management (CAM), and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
+ Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended alternate/second shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
+ Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
+ Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable time as determined by the company
**Preferred Qualifications:**

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. + This effort includes additional support, such as over and above (O&A) tasks; engineering services including development, test and FAA certification of modifications and installation of modifications; depot maintenance support, worldwide field team support, aircraft crash investigations, and damage repair; and submission and management of Air Force Form 107 for data and technical support to maintain the KC-46 aircraft.
