We are looking to hire an enthusiastic director of development to secure financial support for our organization. The director of development will set and achieve fundraising goals, maintain knowledge of fundraisers' interests, and cultivate relationships with fellow employees and volunteers. You will be an active participant in fundraising events, undertake vision trips, and maintain a social media presence.

The successful applicant will build lasting relationships with donors, and keep them informed on how their financial input is making the world a better place. Preferred candidates will be self-motived, deadline-driven multitaskers.

Director of Development Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with the board of directors to create and implement a fundraising plan.
  • Collaborating with the communications team to develop a digital fundraising strategy.
  • Furnishing board with regular progress reports.
  • Collaborating with a network to identify and build relationships with new donors.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing sponsors.
  • Obtaining financial support from individuals and organizations.
  • Managing fundraising and special events.
  • Generating development materials such as grants and case statements.
  • Managing the implementation of development software.
  • Managing staff responsible for data entry and gift processing.
Director of Development Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, or related field.
  • 4+ years of sales or business development experience.
  • Proficient with sponsorship solicitation.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications and CRMs.
  • Proficient with social media platforms.
  • Excellent understanding of best practices.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Available to travel, work weekends and evenings.
  • Valid driver’s license.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing capital projects at AMRIZE Ravena, NY cement plant - a large plant cement manufacturing site with a crushing plant, vertical roller mill, preheater / precalciner burning system, 3 finish mills and truck / barge loading systems. Applies broad, diversified knowledge of engineering and construction principles and practices to project engineering in the preparation of complex engineering analyses. Makes decisions independently concerning problems within the project. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control.

  • Prepares or oversees the preparation of discipline estimates and work plan in accordance with project's scope, schedule and budget and manages implementation and performance accordingly.
  • Reviews significant bid summaries, major drawings and staffing estimates and schedules. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Project management of all contracts either awarded or assigned to the incumbent including attending site meetings, identifying and pricing work extra to the contract, coordinating and scheduling the project with the customer, invoicing, collections, and resolving any disputes involving the customer and any other third parties.
  • Verify contract documents and blueprints for accuracy and project materials.
  • Manage Subcontractors, outline expectations, scheduling information and track productions.Verify job site quantities.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree / Undergraduate Degree 5 to 10 years of project management experience in heavy industrial environmental, preferably cement. Knowledge of engineering work planning and control methods. Extensive knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards.
Required Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Microsoft Project
Project Management certificate e.g. PMI or similar is desired Able to travel as needed for feasibility studies and supporting project managers

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge in cement plant design, engineering, commissioning and operation,
  • Knowledge of engineering disciplines, Basic knowledge in construction.
  • Strong knowledge in current engineering design standards and tools specific to the cement industry
  • Strong knowledge of process and mass flow calculations as well as basic design principles used in the cement industry
  • Familiar with and knowledgeable of the various process equipment, material handling equipment, and logistic equipment used in the industry
  • Basic knowledge in civil and electrical engineering and basic principles and practices
  • Capacity to forecast, analyze, and mitigate technical risks
  • Communication and negotiating ability within Amrize and with external third parties.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a matrix organization with teams located in several locations

Job Description

Year Up United is a one-year or less, intensive job training program that provides young adults with in-classroom skill development, access to internships and/or job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship. Year Up United participants also receive an educational stipend.

The program combines technical and professional training with access to internships and job placement support through our industry-leading talent placement firm YUPRO Placement. If you receive an internship, it may be at Bank of America or JPMorgan Chase among other leading organizations in the Newark area.

Are you eligible?
You can apply to Year Up United if you are:
- A high school graduate or GED recipient
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program
- Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
- Have not obtained a Bachelorʼs degree
- You may be required to answer additional screening questions when applying

Overview

Manages and oversees the administration of a Behavioral Health Services (BHS) program, including the appropriate utilization and management of staff and the quality of program participants care with an emphasis upon an inter-disciplinary team approach to the delivery of care. Works under general direction.

What You Will Do

  • Provides clinical supervision to staff including assigning, monitoring and evaluating cases for clinical team(s). Conducts regularly scheduled team meetings. Provides back-up coverage for program leadership as required.
  • Manages triage and case assignment procedures, new referrals, liaison activities, and staff scheduling to insure adequate coverage at all times.
  • Collaborates with other team members and Behavioral Health Services (BHS) leadership in formulating clinical and administrative policies and procedures, preparing policy and procedure manuals, implementing and maintaining established policies and procedures, and proposing modifications and revisions of policies and procedures, as indicated.
  • Collects, tracks, and monitors progress and outcomes for all staff assigned to the team(s); produces and maintains detailed reports for all data pertinent to the program. Reports relevant data to funders and central administration as needed.
  • • Oversees the maintenance of updated case records for team(s) through EMR and coordinates effective electronic communication throughout all provider databases, as needed. Maintains case records in accordance with program policies/procedures, as well as VNS Health, city, and state standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors the program budget and is knowledgeable of all financial aspects of the program, including, but not limited to, reimbursement and purchasing.
  • Ensures volume and productivity meet program standards and operations.
  • Oversees compliance of quality and performance indicators, and supervises staff to achieve goals. Performs internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and takes corrective action, as necessary to address deficiencies.
  • Provides clinical subject matter expertise and serves as a resource to supervisors, clinicians and staff. • Provides assessment, direct services to program participants and families in the community; advises and consults in case conferences, staff meetings, and discharge planning as needed.
  • Promotes positive relationships within VNS Health and other community service organizations. Serves as program liaison to other community agencies, negotiating formal liaison and organizing consultation and education for referral sources.
  • Participates in 24/7 on-call coverage schedule and performs on-call duties, as required.
  • Investigates complaints registered by program participants, completes Incident Reports and other safety and quality reports within required time frames.
  • Collaborates with program leadership and other staff in the development and implementation of in-service education programs.
  • Performs all duties inherent in a supervisory role. Ensures effective staff training, interviews candidates for employment, evaluates staff performance and recommends hiring, promotions, salary actions, and terminations, as appropriate.
  • Oversees the development of systems and records for billing each MCO.

Qualifications

  • Licenses and Certifications:
    Valid New York State driver's license may be based on program needs required License and current registration to practice as a Nurse, Social Worker, Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor or other related license in the State of New York required
  • For IMT: LCSW required or LMHC

    Education:
    Master's Degree degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Nursing or other related field required

    Work Experience:
    Minimum of five years of supervisory and administrative experience with demonstrated competency in program management, budget management, and community relations required
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications required
  • For Adult Services: Prior experience working in a community behavioral health care setting required Experience with EMR systems preferred Knowledge of city and state agency and/or managed care functioning preferred


Pay Range

USD $77,200.00 - USD $96,500.00 /Yr.
