**Description:** As the Project Management & Planning Operations, Sr. on the production operations build team, you will oversee Earned Value Management (EVM) for the production operations Integrated Product Team (IPT), serving as a liaison between senior management, build managers, and the project team for a new start restricted access effort.
You will also ensure the development of mechanisms for monitoring earned value progress and for intervention and problem-solving with project managers, execution teams, and internal/external stakeholders. Additionally, this role will oversee risk and opportunity management for the production operations team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading e projects, initiatives, and studies in support of the production operation earned value initiatives. These activities span technical, programmatic, and administrative content to include anomaly resolution, risk mitigation, opportunity exploitation, project leadership, program management support, engineering support, and process evaluation. Candidate will help in coordination and maturing MRA/ MRL to meet contractual requirements. In performing these activities, the successful candidate will regularly interface with executive management, program leaders, and support disciplines to develop comprehensive solutions. Interaction with senior members of the US DOD will also occur in certain circumstances.

**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $36,965. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
**Description:**
+ This position oversees and manages the facilities projects and construction activities and serves as liaison between leadership, program and other customers.
+ Act as primary contact for facilities between customers and maintenance for equipment and machinery project activities.
+ Gather, review, and finalize requirements data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.
+ Plan, design, and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.
+ Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
+ Prepare Scopes of Work and supporting documents for procurement of design and construction services.
+ Review and estimate costs, including design, equipment, installation, labor, materials, construction, and other related costs.
+ Inspect or direct the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
+ Manage and execute multiple facilities projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
+ Forecast and report on project status, including key project metrics for Risk, Cost, and Schedule.
+ Produce and implement risk mitigation and schedule recovery plans as required.
+ Identifies any task that will require special inspection and coordinates with customer and contractors
+ Coordinate and update the Air Force as required for projects, budgets, and schedule.

**Basic Qualifications for the Level 2 Project Management:**

+ Knowledge of construction related disciplines. Able to communicate effectively and clearly too present technical approaches and findings.
+ Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a DOD Secret Clearance.
+ Work with subject matter experts, suppliers, etc. (as required) to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot and solve issues related to mechanical system, machines and or material assemblies.

**Essential Functions:**
As a Senior Principal Project Manager, you will support the Global Supply Chain Program Management team and be responsible for managing Supplier's cost, schedule and technical activities. Candidates for this position will demonstrate a broad skill set that is balanced across leadership, collaboration, business analysis, communication, project management, stakeholder management, change management, and risk management.
**Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:**
+ Manage Supplier's cost, schedule and technical requirements
+ Lead Integrated Product Team to implement strategies and ensure Suppliers are performing to expectations
