About this Position:
The New Model Cost Project Lead is responsible leading and managing new model project plans that achieve A00 targets. Lead and manage the procurement purchasing team in all aspects of a new model project (including BEV) from start to finish, providing technical expertise. Design, identify, communicate, and implement a plan for completing the NM project on time and achieving cost and investment targets, including BOM maturation, ML communication across HDMA, DB Cost Correlation, Cost Roll-up/Reporting to top mgmt.(both PSCC and ADC) . Monitor progress and performance against the project plan versus actual.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead full model change project management (BEV, etc)
- Recognize problems/issues with new model development
- Communicates effectively with other groups to establish/report accurate new model costs
- Lead systems associates that support the department.
- Prepare New Model cost presentations that explains cost/investment to ADC management
- Review and establish cost-based part structures for New Models while confirming cost change reasons by part for summarization and reporting.
Who we are seeking:

Job purpose:
- Lead new model projects to mass production in the plastics department while ensuring all project targets are achieved in each of the SEQCDM categories.
Key accountabilities:

Job Purpose
The business project manager works with internal and external stakeholders managing and improving the overall supplier relationship management system (SRM). The project manager is responsible for supplier data and communication required to conduct business with Honda Development and Manufacturing of America, LLC. The business project manager must be proficient in overall project management due to identifying, supporting, and executing policies and procedures to ensure the North American suppliers understand and meet requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible to support and implement strategies to improve how the Purchasing & Supply Chain Planning Department maintains, receives, and confirms critical supplier information (company contacts; legal documents; business status; etc) to support all North American operations.
- Responsible to take necessary steps with the suppliers to gather the required information and work to keep data current for all Original Equipment Manufacturer suppliers in the Supplier Relationship Management system. Serve as the main contact for the North American suppliers, handling daily inquiries, communicating expectations to suppliers, troubleshooting, and confirming supplier data accuracy and integrity.
- Responsible to analyze, prepare, summarize, and complete claim forms for each separate Honda business entity (HDMA, HCM, etc), submitting final forms to Law Business Unit per required deadlines. Representing the Purchasing and Supply Chain Center, the project manager must be able to communicate and request supplier information related to their part numbers and supplier numbers through discussions with multiple Honda departments. Must be able to determine the claim direction based on case analysis and accurately communicate, both verbally & written with the American Honda Motor Corporation Law Team.
- Support and execute the annual cadence of supplier communications outlining business expectations. Must have the ability to effectively communicate with suppliers to quickly resolve issues and develop countermeasures. Must be able to assess the issues and develop an action plan to address the gap(s).
- Responsible to manage the various North American supplier meetings registration process. This includes and not limited to identify meeting attendees, create meeting invitation, track responses, identify gaps, countermeasure issues and follow-up with attendees on feedback and proper documentation. Responsible for Honda Supplier Conference Supplier Awards, gathering nominations, managing approval process, and announcement to suppliers
- Responsible to analyze, summarize and report monthly and quarterly North America supplier related results: approved number of North American suppliers and the North American supplier spending. Both reports must capture information across all North American manufacturing locations, including automobile, power sports and power equipment.

Job Purpose:
Serve as new model project leader for North American Stamping plant departments. Manage standard new model flow and activities to achieve project targets and improve manufacturing characteristics. At EX2 grade level, you will lead new model development for one or more minor model changes and occasional full model changes with guidance from leadership.
Key Accountabilities:
- Confirm designs by coordinating with Stamping department members and Production Engineering (PEBU) team per project direction. Prepare department status summary and new model impact, and present to leadership in new model evaluations.
- Collaborate with Design/Engineering/Business teams to ensure past model reflections and factory characteristics are reflected to the design and manufacturing process development. Negotiate product specification changes with design & engineering teams and submit change requests as necessary.
- Understand plant processes, constraints, and capabilities for stamping department and feed into new model development.
- In coordination with project stakeholders, develop project targets, incorporating factory characteristics and business plan targets to ensure department key performance indicator achievement.
- Develop specified action plan (SAP), ensure completion of project tasks, and adjust as needed for project changes. Ensure all deliverables are completed according to cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Develop and maintain cross functional relationships across business units and departments within Honda and with outside suppliers.
- Lead daily meetings and coordination with project stakeholders and leadership.
- Establish, track, and report project budget and manpower status and requirements.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or equivalent relevant experience (Stamping preferred)
- 2+ Yrs combined experience in new model development or manufacturing (Stamping preferred).

Design Project Leader-I MMC leads a cross functional design team for New Model change projects to define the detailed plan to execute ATV/SxS development while achieving quality, cost and delivery (QCD) targets. Projects are medium to large minor model changes (S/N to CF Flow).
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with LPL to set a development execution plan for design team that achieves quality, cost and delivery. Breakdown clear targets, work packages and schedules for the project team to achieve the project milestones thru the project lifecycle from concept to production launch.
- Collaborate with the project team (including Japan Engine Development) and suppliers to define vehicle performance and design specifications that achieves the overall vehicle concept including sales, manufacturing and purchasing viewpoints.

Job Purpose
To further solidify the Company’s position in Honda supply chains, the Resource Circulation Planning (RCP) division supports Honda projects related to the ‘Triple Action to Zero’ initiative set forth by Honda Motor as it transitions to the Electric Vehicle (EV) environment. A critical role in this division is the Planning Specialist. The role of a Planning Specialist of RCP is crucial in ensuring strategic projects related to the resource circulation of Honda commodities including, but not limited to, aluminum, end-of-life vehicles, plastic, and steel are professionally managed. This individual is responsible for overseeing the allocation, distribution, and management of resources to meet the organization's global strategy and the continual innovation to deliver effective business solutions and value-added services to our customers. One key responsibility of this position is to identify and assess the organization's resource needs. This involves analyzing current resource usage, forecasting future requirements, and developing strategies to optimize resource allocation. Another important role is to establish systems and processes for tracking and monitoring resource usage. This includes implementing inventory management systems, conducting regular audits, and analyzing data to identify areas where resources are being underutilized or wasted. Furthermore, this individual must also collaborate with other departments or teams within the organization and serve as company-wide liaison linking resource circulation strategies. SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator for Inclusion & Leadership Development (Coordinator) oversees all student-facing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives as well as all leadership programs for students. The primary focus of the role is to develop, execute, and integrate strategies and ongoing initiatives that promote an affirming culture of intentional inclusivity on campus –specifically, the development of initiatives that seek to facilitate the personal and academic success of marginalized student groups through the development of programmatic initiatives, mentorship opportunities, and individual advisement. The role is also responsible for fostering activism within our student body and for promoting a culture of socially engaged and civically minded students. Duties also include assisting the Assistant Dean with creating engagement opportunities for students through a series of signature events, the coordination of climate surveys, and program assessment, as well as serving as the lead advisor to student organizations focused on inclusion and equity education on top of providing operational support to all student organizations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide direction for equity and inclusion initiatives that support the college's mission and the Division of Student Affairs' learning outcomes;
- Under the guidance of the Assistant Dean, will plan, implement, and evaluate programs and initiatives that promote an affirming culture of intentional inclusiveness on campus and that support marginalized students groups; foster activism within our student body and promote a culture of socially engaged and civically minded students;
- Apply identity development to all programs, trainings, and retreats;
- Serve on the CARE Team as a CARE Responder; provide individual support, including referrals, to students in their social, leadership, and identity development;
- With the Assistant Dean and AVP, provide advocacy and support for students related to bias incidents;
- Plan heritage months by developing monthly programming and coordinating a campus calendar for each Cultural Heritage month.
- Pursue and maintain a national LGBTQ+ ranking status as an affirming, inclusive campus;
- Serve on the institution's Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Commission;
- Serve as primary advisor to all current CCAD student organizations that align with DE&I initiatives;
- Facilitate inter-organization communication and collaboration; Initiate and plan community building programs and meetings for various student organizations;
- At the direction of the Assistant Dean, develop and implement policies and processes that support the development and maintenance of student clubs and organizations; assist student leaders of all student organizations with executing completing an events request with the Events Office and oversee requests related to , programs, speakers, and educational opportunities related to the missions of their organizations; provide support for organizations with budgets, contracts, and evening/ weekend event coverage and advisement as needed;
- Assist with the planning and implementation of Student Affairs' signature events;
- Assist in assessing the student experience as it relates to student engagement and leadership opportunities in clubs/organizations;
- Supports the college's retention efforts through individual interventions with students;
- Serve on the CHROMA committee, a committee of faculty, staff and students. Chroma: Best of CCAD is our annual exhibition of outstanding student work, selected and curated by faculty.
- Serve as student portal administrator you are the central manager of the digital platform students use to access academic resources, administrative services, and college communications. Your role ensures the portal is functional, secure, and user-friendly, supporting the academic and administrative needs of the student body.
- Serve on cross-functional work teams and committees as directed;
- This position is a key role in student services administration. The individual is expected to maintain a spirit of professionalism, diplomacy, and tact. This position requires the need to be available to work evenings and/or weekends.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned such as special projects, programs, developmental activities, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Ability to communicate effectively –both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of best practices and trends related to multicultural and international student populations, promoting an inclusive and equitable culture on campus
- Strong work-ethic, attention to detail, and an ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders in a culturally sensitive manner
- Experience building a supportive community among students and peers.
- An excellent understanding of programming and event management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Possible student employee supervision.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's Degree preferred, in student affairs, higher education or a related field
- 1-3 years of related experience, which may include graduate level positions. Experience in successfully implementing diversity education and multicultural student support strategies on a college campus preferred.
- Experience in advising student organizations, student programming boards, student government and/or supervising student leaders preferred.
