POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible and accountable to the Director of Planning, Design and Construction for the financial project coordination required to manage various capital and operational funded projects associated with the implementation of the University Health Construction Projects. Helps ensure that project management processes and reporting enables University Health to complete all projects on time and within budget. Ensures availability of performance measurements data for review and analysis; evaluates and drives risk; management process improvements, efficiencies and workflow enhancements. Effectively protects the Health System’s interests in capital projects and, works collaboratively with procurement services, contracting, supplier diversity, and budget and finance staff.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associates degree in a work related field required. A minimum of 2 years relevant experience as a project coordinator or supervisor is required.

The Executive Director is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating designated projects based upon budgets and timelines that have been determined by management and other project specific requirements. This position is expected to provide an additional level of coordination, communication, and oversight for all ambulatory applications including projects related to those applications. Must maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and other UHS staff and perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree in IS or business is preferred. A PMI certification and experience in IT or healthcare is highly preferred. Must have experience managing projects in which the team members do not report to the project manager and must have worked in a team-oriented environment. Certification in Epic ambulatory applications is desired. Will be required to successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment test.

Summary

The Maternal Program Manager (MPM) facilitates and implements the hospital’s Maternal Program Plan to align with the hospital specific and system Quality Assessment & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives as defined in the Texas Administrative Code for Hospital Level of Care Maternal Designation. The MPM regularly and actively participates in perinatal care at the hospital where program manager services are provided.

Qualifications
