+ Continue experience in sales or clinical setting.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living. Under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN), the PCT assists the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the PCT's skills/training and the needs of the Department, and consistently assists the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment. The PCT complies with all hospital policies/procedures and observes the State Board of Nursing rules for unlicensed personnel.
**What you will do in this role:**
+ Participates in the implementation of nursing care plans by performing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the licensed nurse.
+ Obtains and records initial and ongoing patient information throughout the cycle of care, including admissions data, vital signs, height and weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, intake and output, calorie counts, and other patient information as outlined by policy.
+ Assists with mobility by regular turning and positioning, dangling, and ambulating patients. Assists with use of walkers, crutches, canes, and wheelchairs. Transfers patients to and from other units, departments, or entities. Assists with discharges. Demonstrates proper body mechanics.
+ Obtains or assists in the collection of specimens for diagnostic or waived tests. Ensures accuracy of all labels and timely transfer of specimen.
+ Assists patients with activities of daily living to include eating and drinking, bathing, shaving, oral care, grooming, and elimination. Changes bed linens as needed.
+ Serves as Monitor/Telemetry Tech for the unit as needed.
+ Engages in evidence-based best practices that enhance the patient experience, including SAFETY rounding, communication fundamentals/AIDET, Teach-Back, Narrating Care, etc.
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
+ Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Medical Director-Behavioral Services Division position is responsible for coordinating activities related to quality improvement and clinical improvement within the division. This position is responsible for risk management processes, accreditation processes, and manages and provides leadership to all clinical and quality assurance processes within the division.
This position provides clinical oversight for outpatient and residential psychiatric services in coordination with a multidisciplinary team of leaders serving customers of Southcentral Foundation Behavioral Services Division. The physician in this position works regularly with the Behavioral Services Division Leadership Team to support the development and delivery of a continuum of services across several Behavioral Services Division programs. Current programs include youth residential services, women’s residential substance use services, adult outpatient services, child and adolescent outpatient services, adult intensive case management services and a clubhouse group therapy day program with psychiatric and medical services. The outpatient providers coordinate internally with Nursing, Case Management, Administrative and support staff in delivery team-based care. The outpatient programs also interface with Integrated Psychiatry services in Primary Care, the Behavioral Urgent Response team based in the ED, Detox services and Substance Use Treatment Services to offer a coordinated continuum of Behavioral Health programming.
Requirements:
- M.D or D. O degree required.
- Current Alaska License.
- Current American Board certification specialty appropriate for the service.
- Meets all requirements in order to obtain medical staff membership and required privileges of services.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and any certification relating to you scope of practice are required.
- Five (5) years post-residency experience as a a Physician; OR demonstrated proficiency as a physician at SCF .

The Patient Services Host/Hostess promotes meal assistance for all patients on a daily basis which includes meal selection, service and retrieval. Accurately serves food and beverages to patients in accordance with the patient's diet prescription. Verbally communicates patient concerns with the clinical dietitian (i.e. education needs, inadequate meal consumption, etc.).
_This position is based in Kotzebue, Alaska working at the Maniilaq Health Center. Hiring for rotational work. The rotational schedule will be 3-week on & 3-weeks off. Point of hire origin is Anchorage, AK. NMS will accommodate travel from NANA Region villages to Kotzebue, AK._
**Responsibilities**
+ Works closely with and assists patients with making appropriate daily menu selections.
+ Prepares, assembles and delivers patient meal trays and snacks.
+ Calculates and assembles trays for modified diets, fluid restrictions, calories, etc. for meals which may include:
+ Regular
+ Soft/Low Residue/Bland
+ Renal
+ Low Sodium
+ Cardiac
+ Low Fat
+ Pureed
+ Lactose Restricted
+ Diabetic
+ Combination Diets
+ Check cafeteria and nursing unit areas periodically to make sure all is continually stocked and everything is full/working.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Must be 18 years of age.
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
+ Alaska Food Workers Card or ServSafe Certification contingent upon 90 days of hire.
+ Must pass a fingerprinting background investigation that complies with The Crime Control Act, Child Care Worker Act and the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act.
+ Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

+ At least one (1) year of directly related restaurant or healthcare food preparation experience.
