• Geisinger is seeking candidates to participate in the development and deployment of an innovative hub and spoke consult model. We are deploying a central hub of Emergency Psychiatry and Consultation Liaison Psychiatry providers to provide consult services. The use of the hub-and-spoke delivery design sets the stage for Geisinger to cast a vital psychiatric lifeline to neighboring rural hospitals, affording relatively seamless integration and assimilation of partner facilities into its network, ensuring continuity of services in remote regions. This consult liaison role will work with a team of providers to provide service to 6 locations in the Geisinger service area. The goal is to offer a collaborative work environment while serving a broad variety of patients in various inpatient and emergency department settings.

*To direct clinical activities implemented by the Mental Health Worker. Provide direction to
the Mental Health Worker in the development of a calendar of group topics. To review the
lesson plans associated with the calendar of group topics*
*Facilitate individual & group counseling sessions*
*To provide individual sessions to students who are experiencing challenges in the school
environment at the recommendation from administration.
*To provide crisis intervention and stabilization strategies on an immediate need basis
consistent with trained TACT2 techniques.
*To work with families on a regular and as needed basis.
*Contribute towards the development and maintenance of an environment which is non-threatening, safe, nurturing, and where students feel respected, accepted, and welcome
*To maintain records in accordance with all state and federal guidelines.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Masters Degree in a recognized related Mental Health Clinical Discipline required
* License not required. However licensed opportunities available.
* 1-2 year case manager experience experience

* Ability to complete and pass given clearances including: FBI, state and child background checks and completed
