Lincoln Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer who will implement projects and other quality related activities for our Euclid and Mentor Consumable Division Quality Assurance. Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a key role in identifying quality problems or potential quality problems, perform effective Problem Definition and Root Cause Analysis.

What You Will Do
- Initiate corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) and verify the effectiveness of those actions. Drive CAPA’s to effective closure in a timely manner. li>Address customer warranty issues and effectively complete customer specific corrective action requests.
- Create and sustain standard printouts for TVM Boards. Provide additional support as the QA Representative.
- Provide support for new products, new equipment installs or process improvements:
- Provide permission note support to R&D and provide data as required for the development of new products.
- Work with Methods Engineering on process improvement initiatives.
- Drive or participate in effective FMEA’s, establish proper control plans and audit frequencies. < i>Serve as the subject matter expert in analytical and testing equipment to maximize the effectiveness of existing equipment while investigating and pursuing advances in technology for continuous improvement.
- Reduce process variation using CI, Six Sigma, and other tools to improve the quality of products and reduce scrap.
- Manage the Quality Near Miss system. Evaluate the submitted Quality Near Misses and evaluate if additional action is needed for continuous improvement.
- Development and implementation of in-line monitoring systems/solutions for quality check-points.
- Utilize MES data to develop process control charts, process capability studies, etc. for new/existing processes. Develop new & update existing work instructions, specifications & procedures.
- Monitor the process audit program. Analyze outcome to determine if a CAPA or CI project is required.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
Education & Experience Requirements
- < i>Bachelors of Science in Engineering required.
- Qualified candidates will have 1 - 5+ years’ experience minimum depending on level. < i>Experience in manufacturing required with a solid technical background. li>Must demonstrate good judgment when evaluating quality related situations.
- Must work well with those in inspection, R&D, production, and supervision.
- Knowledge of Consumable Division products, processes, specifications and procedures is preferred.
- Willing to undergo the necessary training to obtain QA Engineer certification.
- Must be willing to travel to customer sites as necessary to solve quality related issues.
- Completion of Six Sigma training and a Red Belt or Black Belt project or willing to undergo the necessary training. Six Sigma preferred
- Must possess excellent communication skills particularly in technical areas.
- Proficient in Apriso and SAP.

The QA Technician will support various functions and activities to include covering internal ISO audits as well as other external bodies such as NIOSH. In addition, you will:

• Use audit guidelines, checklists and prior audit results to determine audit paths
• Gather and document objective evidence during audit interview process; determine whether quality activities comply with specifications, procedures, and standards

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and enhance our quality assurance operations. This pivotal role involves managing a dedicated team to ensure that our products consistently meet rigorous quality and compliance standards. The successful candidate will spearhead quality initiatives, manage customer quality issues, and uphold our certification requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development: Guide and develop the Quality Assurance team to achieve organizational objectives. Oversee daily operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Quality Management System (QMS): Implement and maintain QMS in line with ISO and IATF standards. Ensure adherence to industry regulations and customer specifications.
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP): Lead APQP efforts to integrate quality into product development from inception to production. Collaborate with various departments to create and uphold control plans, process flow diagrams, and FMEAs.
- Supplier Quality Management: Establish and oversee supplier quality programs, conducting audits and performance evaluations. Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and enhance processes.
- Customer Quality Concerns: Act as the main point of contact for addressing customer quality issues. Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Audits & Compliance: Conduct internal audits to ensure QMS compliance. Prepare and manage external audits from customers and regulatory bodies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and lead efforts to improve processes and product quality using Six Sigma, Lean, and other methodologies.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed quality reports and maintain records of quality activities, including audit findings and corrective actions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality management, preferably in industrial, automotive, or aerospace sectors.
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949 standards.
- Proven expertise in problem-solving techniques such as 8D, 5Y's, and fishbone diagrams.
- Experience in root cause analysis and quality improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with AIAG core tools and statistical methods like MSA, DOE, SPC.
- Proven experience with quality inspection and testing equipment.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in quality management software, statistical tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Quality Manager (CQM) and Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from ASQ.

Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality assurance programs within the food production facility. This role ensures that all products meet both company standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control and Assurance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality standards across all production lines.
- Oversee routine inspections of food products, raw materials, and production processes to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (FDA, USDA, etc.).
- Conduct regular quality audits and establish corrective actions when quality issues arise.
- Review and evaluate production records, data logs, and testing results for accuracy and compliance.
Food Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local food safety regulations, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food labeling laws.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in food safety and quality (such as HACCP or SQF) are a plus.
