Responsible for final inspections in Finishing/Framing and other departments as applicable, on assigned shelters prior to shipment to customers. Responsible for assuring department's complete rework and issues illustrated on write-ups from inspections.
+ Performs routine daily inspections on all aspects of the job based on technical drawings and . standards with direct supervision of Department Manager/Supervisor.
+ Provides detailed precise, inspection records and reports utilizing Quality Assurance logs and inspection documentation.
+ Accepts or rejects work based on technical drawings and standards.
+ Reports all unresolved or open rejections to Department Supervisor for resolution through Engineering.
+ Strong knowledge of all aspects of construction and finishing standards based on technical drawings and established standards.
+ Works with Engineering and Production as needed to resolve quality related problems.
+ Check welds, check walls, roofs and floors by drawings and standards.
+ Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Supervisor.

**What you'll do.**
+ You will select audits by working with operations supervisors, managers, and Field Check partners to prevent potential damages.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Inspector inspects a range of components, parts and/or products for the area assigned as prescribed by all applicable specifications and quality assurance Instructions. Identifies moderately difficult quality issues in design, process or other inefficiencies to meet quality requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials and components at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards.
- Participates in analysis statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards.
- Performs visual inspections of soldered connections, mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Prepares and completes all necessary documentation for reporting.
- Acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested items.
- Identifies design, process or other inefficiencies and reports quality concerns and issues.
- Performs routine quality inspections on engineering designs, assemblies, piece parts, final assemblies and tooling.
- Conducts Internal audits and corrective action follow ups.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.

We are looking for an experienced candidate to add to our team in the Aerospace and Defense Industry. You need the confidence, grit and get-it-done mentality of a ‘builder’. Corporate seat-fillers need not apply. You need to bring a strong and clear Supply Chain voice to the table of your peers on the ADPma team; being willing to always vocalize what is true, even if uncomfortable or unpopular.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- 2 plus years of work experience or equivalent a plus.
- Able to interpret Aerospace Part Drawings and understanding GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- First Piece Inspection, Production Inspection, operation of a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), surface plate layout.
- Use of Precision Inspection Gaging and Equipment. Calibration experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing techniques is a plus.
- Familiar with AS9100 or other Quality Systems is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
