As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will be part of a team that is responsible for testing solutions that are vital to Dollar Tree and Family Dollar. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems, being a part of a collaborative group, and enjoys working on a variety of products. Principal duties and responsibilities include:

• Create/execute test plans and scripts based on the project artifacts created by development and business teams.
• Perform data validation using queries, SQL, and other tools.
• Track and report the various defects and map them to the various development life cycles of the project.
• Work closely with project and solutions teams to develop and enforce quality standards.
• Confirm functional capabilities of final products and solutions.
• Confirm stability and performance of final products and solutions.
• Participate in and contribute during defect triage calls.
• Update and maintain daily and weekly QA status reports and metrics.
• Proactively raise, escalate, and communicate quality issues.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and applications to support the business.

Required qualifications include:

• 1+ years testing experience.
• Experience in functional testing techniques including system acceptance and regression testing.
• Experience using automation and performance tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other office products and defect tracking tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with other teams.
• Experience with various testing life cycles but not limited to system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies based on its relevance to the development life cycle.
• Ability to work independently.

Desired qualifications include:

• Prior work experience in the retail domain.
• Experience with VBScript and automated test tools including Quick Test Professional.
• Experience working in an agile project process.
• Experience testing applications running on iSeries.

JOB SUMMARYSupport AS9100 Quality functions for complex inspections of Incoming to final inspection for Space, Military, and commercial products.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES•Follow Psionics' Quality Standards, Customer requirements, ESD Program, Safety protocols along with Psionics' granular Work Instructions.•Conduct inbound, in-process and final inspection of electronic, electrical, optical product.•Operate in an ESD, FOD manufacturing environment•Evaluates products and documentation to determine whether requirements, tests and inspections have been performed in accordance with both Psionic, and its customer specifications.•Compile and analyze key product data to validate conformance to customer requirements.•Support failure investigations (root cause analysis) through traceability systems.•Interactive partner with manufacturing.•Exposer to fiber optics, optics spicing and optics testing•Experience in circuit board inspections•Full understanding of IPC 610 J standard•Conduct stage gate tests (inprocess)•Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems•The ability to drive and evaluate supplier-provided root cause and corrective action•Exposure to FAI (First Article Inspections)•Works within a multidisciplinary team•Maintain part traceability•Basic understanding of electronic test equipment like Oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer.
