PRIMARY PURPOSE
Provide our customers with a clean, safe, inviting place to shop by maintaining standards in accordance with the standard practice manual. Minimize shrink through proper utilization of standard practice.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with primary emphasis on fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience
• Courteous and helpful to other associates
• Sweep and clean floors on nights with no scheduled vendor services
• Weekly cleaning of Produce, Market and Deli Departments
• Clean and organize the store mop room
• Find more efficient ways to do the job and seek to reduce costs and improve labor productivity
• Follow QA daily check list and sanitation standards set by Food Lion
• Follow current Standard Practices regarding cleanup of Hazardous Waste product
• Maintain a complete understanding of and adherence to company guidelines, policies and standard practice
• Understand and follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures
• Observe and correct all unsafe conditions that could cause associate or customer accidents
• Report all associate and customer accidents in accordance with established Food Lion procedures to the Manager on Duty
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations
• Wear the Food Lion uniform complete with name badge, when on duty, has a neat and clean appearance while adhering to the Food Lion dress code
• Successfully complete Computer Based Training (CBT), Training Packet and Training Aid courses
• Perform all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills

- Verify that all software and hardware modifications comply with QA standards, configuration baselines, and ATO requirements.
- Assist in debugging and troubleshooting software issues; identify root causes and work with developers for resolution tracking.
- Conduct audits, reviews, and compliance testing in accordance with DHS 4300A, NIST 800-53, and RMF requirements.
- Participate in Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and ensure that test evidence aligns with change request documentation.
- Provide detailed test reports, traceability matrices, and risk-based analysis to support stakeholder decision-making and audit readiness.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the QA Plan, SOPs, and test case libraries in support of sustained CM lifecycle activities.
- Track testing activities using Jira; document test results, defects, and quality metrics in Confluence and related repositories.
- Ensure that testing practices comply with Section 508, accessibility standards, and cybersecurity best practices.

Skills/Qualifications:

Position Overview:
The Software QA Engineer and Tester ensures software products meet quality standards and functional requirements by designing, executing, and maintaining test plans and procedures. This position supports compliance with internal processes and external regulations while participating in all testing phases of Agile DevSecOps environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute software test plans to identify bugs and verify functionality aligns with requirements.
- Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate test activities within Agile sprints.
- Support automated and manual testing within cloud-based systems and large-scale applications.
- Validate that development workflows conform to organizational QA policies, security standards, and software lifecycle requirements.
- Assist in debugging and troubleshooting defects identified during test cycles.
- Maintain documentation such as testing scripts, quality reports, and audit records.
- Participate in QA audits, conduct data analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage and issue resolution.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education/Qualifications - Journeyman Level:
- Education: Bachelor's or Associate degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or at minimum an IT Certification.
(Two years of experience may substitute for one year of education.)
- Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year in an Agile DevSecOps development/testing environment.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year experience developing testing scripts and automation frameworks in cloud-based systems.
- Strong oral and written communication and documentation skills.
- Clearance: Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 background investigation.
