Your Role
  • Responsible for a thorough understanding of project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.

  • Maintain access to applicable reference standards and facilitate access by project team
  • Subject matter expert for quality control test and inspection protocols
  • Generate and conduct training, relative to QC processes and procedures
  • Perform audits of project adherence to QC Program and project specific plans. Record and report results
  • Lead investigation into non-conformances, determine root cause, recommend corrective actions, publish non-conformance bulletins

Your Education and Experience
  • Minimum 10 years' combined experience within the construction industry, as a Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and/or Construction Manager required
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred
  • Experience with project management software (i.e. Procore, CMiC) preferred
  • Experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Construction Quality Management for Contractors, preferred

Job Purpose:

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet company standards at every stage of production. This includes inspecting and testing incoming components and raw materials, as well as monitoring the manufacturing and packaging processes. The inspector may also be responsible for applying approval or rejection labels to materials and assessing label copy for compliance with regulations. By identifying and addressing quality issues, the inspector plays a critical role in minimizing production downtime and reducing the risk of product recalls.

  • Inspect PCBA/assemblies/RMA using the customer print, applicable Process Instructions and/or IPC-A-610 guidelines.
  • Complete Oracle and SFDC transactions for passed and failed lots/units.
  • Complete customer Certificates of Compliance as required.
  • Ensure that lot rejections are initiated when required. Work with production to assure that all defects have been caught and that all PCBA/assemblies submitted for Final Inspection are acceptable.
  • Work with Quality Engineers to update Final Audit Process Instructions as required.
  • Verify that Temporary Deviations and Rework Instructions have been properly implemented and/or completed.
  • Review the daily hotlist to verify that the area is prioritizing the correct products for inspection.
  • Complete First Article Inspections and Engineering Change Order verification as applicable.
  • May be asked to assist with audits/other quality department functions.
Education and Experience:
  • Experience with computer software including Oracle, Agile and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Basic understanding of quality concepts including sampling, lot rejections, FAI and Quality Alerts.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standard; current Certification is a plus.
  • Process auditing experience a plus.
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes.

Job DescriptionWe're excited to partner with a fantastic company in Manchester that's hiring a Quality Control Inspector!If you have experience in quality inspection, a solid work ethic, and Excel skills, this could be the perfect next step in your career.Location: ManchesterSchedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PMPay: $20-$22/hrType: Temp-to-PermKey Responsibilities:Inspect and test products to meet customer and product specifications.Report any quality issues and ensure compliance with quality policies.Read and interpret blueprints and measurement procedures.Operate and maintain measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, vision systems).Verify documentation accuracy and packaging specifications.Maintain a clean, safe work environment.Adhere to GDP, GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards.Support continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications:Previous quality control experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint preferred).Self-motivated with strong communication and teamwork skills.Skills & Requirements:Ability to read and follow instructions and reports.Basic math skills, including unit conversionsApply now to take the next step in your career!
