This position will be responsible for executing the legal function of the real estate department (known internally as “Store Development”).
Key Accountabilities:
- Serve as primary counsel for all matters related to the Company’s real estate portfolio.
- Negotiate, draft, and review retail leases (with a focus on retail store leases in U.S. and Canada), lease amendments, lease restructurings, store relocation agreements, termination agreements, construction exhibits and other real estate contracts, lease action documentation and related real estate documentation (e.g., estoppels, SNDAs, letters of intent, default letters and other Landlord/Tenant correspondences).
- Provide ad-hoc legal counsel on all real estate related matters, including interpreting and analyzing existing agreements, and advising on disputes and strategy.
- Manage a high volume of leases, and in a highly organized and professional manner; able to work well in a collegial but fast-paced environment and to collaborate with intra-departmental and cross-departmental business partners as well as outside brokers, consultants and attorneys.
- Manage and act as liaison with outside counsel for more complex real estate issues and negotiations.
- Manage real estate related litigation matters and disputes, including overseeing outside counsel.
Education and Experience:
- Strong academic credentials, including a J.D. degree from an accredited law school and membership in good standing in at least one state bar.
- 6-12 years of relevant leasing and commercial real estate legal experience in a law firm and/or in a corporate in-house legal role (retail experience a plus); compensation to be commensurate with experience level.

Position Summary:
As a Mentor for Elementary/Middle School Programs, you will design an engaging and intellectually stimulating experience for students while supervising and ensuring the safety of the youth under your care. You will develop a rapport, provide guidance, serve as a role model for youth and assist the Activity Specialist during program activities.
Reports to: Program Director
Compensation: $22-$24 an hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.This is an in-person position for the school year from September through June with potential rehire for summer and the following school year.
Responsibilities:
- Create a fun, safe, and structured environment for youth which is inclusive to all youth, parents, staff, and key stakeholders.
- Plan, develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum including interactive challenging activities and games that enable the youth to develop core competencies and social emotional skills.
- Manage classroom and maintain positive learning environment
- Provide assistance with homework and encourage academic progress; feel comfortable providing homework help
- Actively monitor and engage youth during all program activities including meals, transitions, field trips, clubs, program activities, recreation and dismissal.
- Provide guidance, problem-solving facilitation, and behavior modification direction.
- Serve as a role model for youth by demonstrating professional language and behavior.
- Develop positive, caring relationships with young people and their families.
- Use youth development principles to improve program quality and support youth's growth.
- Collaborate and communicate constructively with supervisory staff and team members.
- Ensure proper care of all spaces and materials, organize room and report any misused or damaged materials to the Program Director.
- Complete and submit in a timely manner all program reports relative to this position, including but not limited to: supply request, lesson plans, incident reports, attendance, snack count and timesheets.
- Actively participate in training and professional development opportunities to continuously improve on program quality.
- Bachelor's Degree or current college students preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience working with school age children required.
- Interest and experience in youth development, academic enrichment and creating interactive, educational/artistic activities.
- A genuine enthusiasm for developing professional skills through training opportunities and field practice.

Job Description
Perform independent commercial real estate appraisal reviews on high complexity/risk properties. The Senior Risk Reviewer will be assigned to larger exposure, more complex collateral typically resulting in greater risk to Citizens, whereby the reliance on experience is critical to identify major issues to protect the bank's collateral position. Ascertain compliance of appraisal reports with the applicable Citizens scope of work and federal regulatory requirements and guidance including, but not limited to:
Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989 (FIRREA; 12 USC §3331, et seq.) and the implementing regulations promulgated thereunder by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) at 12 CFR Part 34 ("Real Estate Lending and Appraisals")
"Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice" (USPAP);
"Interagency Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines" ("Interagency Guidelines"), dated December 2010, issued by OCC as periodically supplemented by Financial Institution Letters; and,
"OCC Comptroller's Handbook: Commercial Real Estate Lending," by the OCC, dated August 2013 (OCC Bulletin ).
+ Manage risks associated with the commercial real estate appraisal and evaluation process for a given geographic market and/or assigned lending groups
+ Supervisory responsibilities may include administrative supervision and required process oversight, including adherence to internal policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and appraisal industry requirements for assignments
+ Real estate risk identification, quantification and consulting (including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis) for the various commercial lending and credit functions throughout Citizens
+ Perform independent commercial real estate appraisal reviews of high complexity/risk properties including memorializing such review in a comprehensive written format for the benefit of internal customers (Relationship Managers/Portfolio Managers; Credit Officers);
+ Assist in the scoping and engagement of commercial appraisal/evaluation assignments, including third-party vendor selection, analysis type, report content, report format and contract authorization in accordance with policies and procedures.
+ Interact with senior management of Wholesale Credit Risk and Commercial Lending regarding projects especially for those properties that represented a higher degree or real estate risk or otherwise have identified appraisal issues or concerns.
+ Manage vendor relationships
+ Provide direct, responsive customer service to external vendors and internal customers (i.e., Relationship Managers/Portfolio Managers; Credit Officers) that RERS supports and serve as the primary liaison and point-of-contact with both internal customers and external vendors regarding regulatory requirements, identification and explanation of any issues of concern, and development/application of any potential risk mitigants.

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $90,640-$135,960 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
