Job Description:
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating the flow of incoming and outgoing materials, products, and supplies. This role ensures that shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, while maintaining proper records, inventory, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
· Process outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and preparing documentation.
· Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
· Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records in the system.
· Ensure materials are stored properly and organized within the warehouse.
· Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding shipment status.
· Assist with cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory control activities.
· Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
· Keep the shipping/receiving area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards.
· Perform material handling job duties as needed.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
· Knowledge of shipping systems, freight carriers, and inventory software a plus.
· Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification required.
· Ability to read packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documentation.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP/WMS systems).
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
· Comfortable operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.

Summary Description
Handle all duties relative to parts and accessories receipt and shipment. Assist in the maintenance of inventory accuracy and control inventory related records. Perform related duties as necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility for performing all functions related to the Receiving of parts and merchandise for all departments.
- Secondary responsibility consists of serving in the capacity of Inventory Control representative for both the P&A and General Merchandise Departments.
- Responsible for ensuring that all merchandise is properly received, accounted for, and tagged properly and made available for sale in a timely manner.
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate and up-to-date reference of inventory supply information for easy access by all department staff.

- Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, along with general email/internet.
- Experience using various Google Drive applications to include but not limited to Google Sheets and Google Docs a plus.

Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Transport parts and product to and from customers and field service employees
Follow company policies regarding receiving and distributing parts in order to maintain inventory accuracy
Reconcile inventory levels of Parts Shed’s where applicable.
Ensure the truck is inspected and safe before transporting onto public and private roadways
Provide minor truck preventive maintenance
Comply with daily driver paperwork and reporting per DOT and company requirements
Maintain current Drivers License, Medical Exam Certificate and meets all DOT and TOMRA requirements for position
Adhere to all posted regulations while in a plant-processing environment when not driving
Provide superior service as a representative of TOMRA to both internal and external customers.
Assist in cleaning and maintaining trucks, trailers, and yard
Must participate in all safety meetings and training
Assist with day-to-day warehouse tasks, which include but are not limited to; cleaning, organizing, and inventory part transfers
Provide regular verbal and written reports to management regarding inventory concerns, shop facility and Tomra equipment and any other pertinent issues relating to the operation of the Wixom, MI location.

Control of inbound and outbound shipments, enter information into Customer System, Records and maintains a daily yard check, and verify outbound driver information to ensure drivers are picking up correct loads.
**Pay Rate:** **$18.50 + $1/hr. shift premium.**
**Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 5pm 01:30am with OT as needed**

- Interact with drivers to verify and accurately input shipment information into customer systems.
