CDM Smith is looking for an Architect 1 to join our team in the Phoenix office in 2026! You'll be working with a dynamic team of industry leading architects on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects. CDM Smith's architectural experience encompasses an array of services, including: building space programming, code compliance research, sustainability/green building design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, construction administration, building commissioning, value engineering and virtual design and construction. Prepares and produces basic complexity construction contract documents, using approved methods and standards under general supervision. **Skills and Abilities:**
Basic knowledge of technologies and methodologies in the use of construction materials. Basic knowledge of Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD), preferably AutoCAD, and familiarity with modeling and rendering software programs.
