**Job Overview**
TE Connectivity's Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer andcontractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop anddocument analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost,structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor companyenvironmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations andrecommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations andindustry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards andspecifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, aswell as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.
**Responsibilities**
As a Quality and Reliability Engineer, you are responsible for:
- Act as the point of contact for customer complaints. Handle customer complaints and issues and ensure these are resolved in line with TE processes and procedures. Mobilize teams of direct and non-direct reports to address customer issues. Ensure that customer complaints and issues are resolved with a sense of urgency
- Bring the Voice of the Customer (VOC) to the operations and functional teams. Analyze customer complaints and recommend and implement action plans and improved processes to prevent the recurrence of customer complaints for assigned GPLs.
- Read and understand drawings and specification documents. Exposure to Design and process validation testing, and understanding test specifications
- Analyze customer information manufacturing processes, and data to identify possible risks, understand the consequences of costs, and determine the viability of customer partnerships.
- Communicate with customers and internal groups regarding customer-reported problems and manufacturing quality problems. Modify communications and style to deal appropriately with customers from a range of cultural backgrounds and to suit the sensitivity of the topic.
- Drive FMEA meetings to achieve the quality standard, structure, and content by capturing past failures and lessons learned
- Support Safe Launch for New projects to ensure '0' customer complaints before handing over the project to the manufacturing site

**What your background should look like:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
+ Minimum 2+ years of experience in the Quality Engineer Role
+ Knowledge and experience in the use of Quality tools (6-Sigma, Product compliance, LEAN manufacturing, Quality standards, Project Management skills)
+ University engineering degree (Mechanical engineering, Process engineering, Manufacturing engineering preferred); Familiarity with polymer material and MGP is a plus
+ Technical skills and demonstrated experience in engineering assignments: ability to read drawings and specification documents

**The Role:**
Reliability Engineers to improve MTTR/MCBF metrics using a data and systems-based approach to identify opportunities to maintain OEE glidepaths and other metrics. The Reliability team is a support organization of equipment Subject Matter Experts, specializing in root cause analysis, data consolidation, preventative/predictive maintenance systems and technologies, processes, and troubleshooting techniques. - Manage the plant TPM program
- Maintain reports to track overall health of the Maintenance department (KPIs, Utilization/Downtime, failure analysis, etc.)

- Utilize Maximo CMMS to track all Maintenance activities and screen data for improvement initiatives

**Role Purpose**
The Plant Maintenance Reliability Engineer ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant equipment by implementing maintenance strategies, minimizing downtime, and optimizing processes. This role drives continuous improvement, resolves complex equipment issues, and supports the plant's operational and economic goals while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Provide engineering expertise and technical support for the maintenance, reliability, and optimization of plant equipment and systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
+ Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs to improve equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
+ Analyze MRO usage data, OEM recommended spares, & equipment failures to optimize MRO stocking levels of spare parts
+ Analyze equipment performance data and failure modes to identify opportunities for improving product supply reliability and implementing corrective actions.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and engineering, to ensure seamless integration of reliability initiatives with manufacturing operations while maximizing economic performance of the plant
+ Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to equipment safety and maintenance standards.
+ Optimize maintenance processes to maximize equipment uptime, minimize operating costs, and meet production objectives.
+ Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures to identify underlying issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
+ Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment maintenance to ensure consistent and safe operations.
+ Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve technical issues related to plant systems and equipment, utilizing advanced mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
+ Perform predictive and preventive maintenance tasks using techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis to monitor equipment health.
+ Design and implement upgrades or modifications to plant equipment to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety.
+ Manage and support the implementation of new technologies, such as condition monitoring systems, to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
+ Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel and operators, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
+ Prepare and present reports on equipment reliability, maintenance performance, and improvement initiatives to management.
+ Provides leadership in problem solving, and technical expertise, to ensure timely resolution of short-term process and equipment issues, and higher level troubleshooting.
+ Designs and/or specifies new equipment or modifies existing equipment to continuously improve process performance. Coordinates installation, debugging and initial operation of new equipment and systems.
**Work Hours**

+ Managing a 24/7 plant structure, occasional off hour support when needed.
**Education & Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
+ Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in plant maintenance, reliability engineering, or related roles, with expertise in reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
+ Proven experience in industrial maintenance engineering, with a focus on complex systems supporting manufacturing operations.
+ Advanced mechanical aptitude and technical skills related to plant equipment and system operations.
+ Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, predictive maintenance technologies, and asset management practices.

The range for this position is $96,723.00 - $132,995.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. **Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Works with Production and Lean Teams to support TPM transition site wide.
+ Develop TPM Team to support Individual Production Cells to improve Operational Availability.
+ Lead Team to Implement TPM Program Element Strategies for each Production cell.
+ Lead KPI Projects and Initiatives to support Safety, Impaired Work Orders, Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance and TPM / Project Work Orders to improve the Overall Value or the Maintenance Organization.

The base pay range for this position is $81,700.00 - 109,200.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
