Your Role as a Renal Dialysis Nurse
In this position, you will:
- Deliver direct patient care to inpatients requiring hemodialysis.
- Supervise care and treatments, conduct thorough patient assessments, develop personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
- Form meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support their recovery.
- Educate nursing staff on hemodialysis patient care, equipment, and standards.
Qualifications
- Current RN license as required by state regulations.
- CPR certification.
- ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
- CRRN certification preferred (support available to obtain this).
- Minimum of 6 months dialysis nursing experience required.
- Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
