The Building People, LLC has a short-term (2 month) open position for a Inventory / Property Specialist . The selected candidate will perform property inventory of government assets as required to conduct our customers yearly physical inventory.
Specific tasks include, but are not limited to, the following areas and associated tasks:
- Perform and participate in the daily operations of inventory processes.
- Works with team members to ensure daily tasks are accomplished.
- Conduct physical inventory of common areas throughout HQ and preliminary blind inventory for designated areas.
- Utilize various systems to perform outreach to offsite employees and others as necessary. Performs multiple rounds of follow-up as necessary.
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience with conducting physical inventory and/or property/asset management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have two (2) years or more experience in conducting physical inventories and reconciliation processes.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow preferred.
- Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills.
- Ability to work independently and highly motivated.
- Good communication skills, both orally and in writing.
