- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
- Research and interpret accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations.
- Perform account reconciliations and journal entries with accuracy and timeliness.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for financial reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with significant exposure to SEC reporting.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., ERP systems, specialized reporting tools).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and modeling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and commitment to accuracy.
