Weyerhaeuser Company is accepting applications for a Plant Administrative Assistant for our Idabel, Oklahoma Lumber facility. We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility.
As the Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the schedule of activities for the Main Office as well as completing site functions, including but not limited to production metric reporting, vacation management for hourly employees, payroll processing and assisting with new hire
pre-employment processing and onboarding. This position reports to the Mill Manager.
*Key Functions: *
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Processing hourly payroll
* Preparing materials for presentations or reports using various software applications
* Scheduling various mill meetings
* Maintaining various types of tracking systems and files including retention and storage compliance
* Providing administrative support for the HR function to include assessment and hiring support, assisting with on-boarding new associates, managing job bid processes, administering random drug testing, fielding benefits and HR transaction questions. Will provide leadership or support to several mill projects at any given time.
* High School diploma/GED required
* 3 to 5 years of relative work experience documented with attached resume
* Ability to work and communicate with sensitive confidential information
* Proficient in the use of computer software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
* Ability to work overtime or flex schedule when needed
* Strong interpersonal / organizational / multi-tasking skills
* Effective communication skills (written, listening, and oral)
* Ideal candidate is a self-starter, shows initiative, and is a team player
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
* 1 to 3 years of previous Human Resource experience documented with attached resume

*Compensation*: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of$45,721-$68,652based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.

The Service Administrative Assistant I schedules appointments, gives information to callers, and otherwise relieves officials of clerical work and minor administrative and business detail by performing the following duties.

+ Open Work Orders for Customers
+ Updating the aged WIP (Work in Progress)
+ Uploading Technician Notes
+ Preparing work orders for Invoicing
+ Collecting pre-payments, final payments, and sending for credit approval
+ Issuing PO's to our vendors
+ Communicating with customers and providing excellent customer service for internal and external customers
+ Reconcile P-card's for business needs
+ Coordinate and arrange meetings/travel; prepare agendas; record and transcribe minutes of meetings; conduct research and compile reports as needed
+ Order and maintain supplies; arrange for equipment maintenance.
+ Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
+ Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
+ Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
+ Knowledge of MS Office Suite software.
