We are seeking a results-driven Battery Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves managing customer relationships, prospecting for new business, overseeing inventory, and achieving measurable sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Visit all assigned customers on routes to maintain strong relationships and ensure satisfaction.

- Prospect and engage with at least 2 new potential customers daily.

- Ensure customers’ battery racks are organized, clean, and fully stocked.

- Stock your truck daily based on the route’s average sales.

- Track and report on battery units sold, gross profit, and core return weight.

- Weigh and log all cores returned to the warehouse; ensure core weight matches or exceeds sales weight.

- Process returned battery cores: neatly stack pallets, remove warranty stickers, wrap, and weigh.

- Assist customers with special purchases (batteries, chemicals, filters, etc.).

- Verify consignments, document discrepancies, and collect signatures.

- Close consignments as needed and maintain accurate records.

- Accurately bill all accounts, including warranty transactions.

- Collect payments for invoices and any outstanding balances.

- Keep customer information updated and accurate.

- Turn in any gas receipts and keep maintenance on delivery truck up to date.

- Attend weekly meetings and training seminars as scheduled.

- Represent the company in a professional manner consistent with our core values.

Performance Metrics:

- Daily: 2 new customer prospects engaged

Qualifications:

**Responsibilities:**
Agents are set up for success by being assigned a territory (called an agency) with an established book of in-force business.
**Day to day activities:**
+ Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, closing sales, and using our Customer Care Sales Model
+ Continuously prospecting for sales opportunities
+ Collecting premiums from policyholders, based on a pre-arranged schedule
+ Responding promptly to policyholder service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, loans, etc.
+ Appropriately keeping records, accounting for money collected, and processing paperwork
**Our agents are expected to:**
+ Increase the agency size
+ Build strong working relationships with customers
+ Devote whatever time is necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position
+ Commit to ongoing development of knowledge and skills
**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Customer service experience
+ The ability to visit customers and prospects door-to-door
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ Valid driver's license with 100k/300k auto insurance coverage
+ Dependable vehicle as daily travel is required
+ Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report check and drug screening
+ Authorized to work in the United States
**Preparation:**
+ Licensing -We provide assistance and guidance to those who are preparing to sit for licensing exams.
+ Basic Training - New agents complete a basic development program that includes self-study, classroom time, role-play, and extensive fieldwork.
