**Primary Objective**
Increase market share and sales for the Dal-Tile SBU in the prescribed region/area. Increase account base by servicing existing customers and expand account base through cold calling
**Primary Function and Scope**
+ Conducts weekly sales calls - includes servicing existing customers as well as cold calling potential customers (average 4-5 cold calls per week).
+ Prepares weekly Sales and Call reports.
+ Develops a monthly strategy for sales calls and prepares a monthly travel calendar based on that strategy.
+ Conducts area market analysis of top accounts in each area including top Dealers, top Contractors, and top Builders.
+ Research area market product data to determine the types, styles, and sizes most commonly purchased in the area to determine sales strategy.
+ Grows market share by increasing sales and sales volume while maintaining company-approved product margin goals.
+ Completes Positive Action Forms for all cold calls resulting in a display, rack, and/or sale.
+ Utilizes influence and negotiation skills to sell and/or place displays in customers showrooms.
+ Conducts client follow-ups via phone calls, letters, and/or emails.
+ Establishes and maintains client files and performs timely follow-up on programs and projects.
+ Provides PK seminars to customers.
+ Utilizes On Demand reporting to achieve sales objectives.

**Experience and Knowledge Required**
+ High school diploma and some college highly preferred.
+ Computer skills to include functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes/email.
+ A clean driving record and reliable transportation are required.
+ 4 years of prior selling experience. Prior customer service experience is a plus.
+ Proven ability to work in an unstructured, unsupervised environment is required.

+ Ensure the accuracy of pricing and Customer Master Data.
+ Provide other, non-selling customer service support including responding to CDE service issues when raised during the sales call, receiving and transferring external customer service calls, and providing order delivery feedback when requested.
+ Coordinate sales service with field-based Business Development Representatives.

In the Outside Sales Representative role, you'll accelerate customer growth, concentrating on acquiring new business customers and cross-selling to eligible customers with Fiber and 5G connections. The position is performance-based, prioritizing new customer acquisition and market growth.
What You'll Do:
+ Accelerate customer growth by acquiring new business customers and cross-selling to eligible customers with Fiber and 5G connections.
+ Sell a simplified AT&T product set inclusive of Fiber and Mobile connections,
+ Achieve sales objectives by securing new high-speed data service agreements with customers in designated low fiber penetrated buildings.
+ Be knowledgeable about AT&T products and be able to emphasize offerings that solve customer problems (paid training provided).
+ Conduct sales duties away from the office on a regular basis to prospect and meet customers out in the field.
Primary Responsibilities:

**Position Purpose:** Provide sales coverage and develop best possible market penetration for all products to present and prospective accounts in his/her assigned territory in accordance with company's policies and programs. The Contract/Preventative Maintenance Agreement (PMA) Sales Representative's task is to increase recurring service and monitoring sales for electronic and mechanical life safety systems such as fire alarms, fire sprinklers, suppression systems, and security and special hazards. This will be done by converting Everon sold projects, non-Everon sold projects, existing customers and competitive prospects into a service agreement. Service agreements consist of test and inspections, preventive maintenance, central station monitoring and other service offerings. Contract/PMA Sales Reps will be expected to review existing customer system information, as well as to conduct surveys of the life safety systems of potential new prospects. The most critical part of this position is to have outstanding prospecting skills and to have high activity levels in order to achieve your assigned pipeline and sales goals.
**_Duties And Responsibilities:_**
+ Responsible to grow the business by providing solutions to existing as well as new client base
+ Cold-Calling and making outside sales calls on a consistent basis in order to seek out new business
+ Conduct building surveys in order to develop proposals to customers
+ Create proposals for service agreements; test and inspections, preventative maintenance and central station monitoring
+ Make necessary sales presentations to customers and management as requested
+ Acquire and maintain sound knowledge of all product lines and services offered.
+ Review testing & inspection reports with the Service Technicians & Service Managers to quantify service repair proposals based on discrepancies discovered during system inspections.
+ Partner with internal departments to communicate job scopes and relay customer needs.
+ Attract new customers to our organization and up-selling our already well-established client base through a combination of outdoor field sales, phone sales, and direct marketing efforts.
+ Assist in marketing initiatives related to sales activities, including the development of sales and business plans.
+ Demonstrate thorough understanding of company services through presentation to customers.
**Qualifications - External**
**_Minimum Qualifications (Education, Skills & Experience):_**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or or 3-5 years professional experience in high-volume sales in a fast paced environment.
+ Outside sales and cold calling experience
+ A successful, proven track record of performance either selling intangibles or selling a service that required excellent prospecting ability
+ Exceptional customer service, thoroughness and self-motivation
+ Candidate must have a strong work ethic, competitive spirit, action oriented and optimistic outlook to achievement and positive results
+ Must possess good decision making skills, be very organized and detail oriented
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
