Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits

  • Guaranteed base pay, plus commission and bonus plan
  • Guaranteed base pay of $16/hour, plus uncapped commissions, and monthly bonus incentives, driven by a pay-for-performance compensation plan that rewards your success through unlimited earning potential.
  • Most team members will earn a total annual compensation package of $9,000 - 57,000. The Multi-Store Leader can speak more directly about the store’s historical earnings potential.

**JOB SUMMARY**
This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting the company's products and services and for building relationships with new and existing accounts. MillTown is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will serve as the direct point of contact for commercial customers, ensuring their needs are met and questions are addressed promptly. The ideal candidate will excel at building relationships, managing projects, and driving sales, including securing recurring preventative maintenance contracts. This role offers a base salary with additional incentives for meeting sales and contract goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the direct point of contact for commercial customers, addressing inquiries and providing solutions.
  • Prepare quotes for projects that exceed COD (cash on delivery) thresholds.
  • Present project details and proposals to Project Managers (PMs).
  • Collaborate with PMs to follow up on project progress and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and secure contracts for recurring preventative maintenance, including services such as drain maintenance.
  • Train a Commercial Service Coordinator (CSC) to accurately rewrite and manage invoices.
  • Coach CSCs to follow up with customers after each service call.
  • Assist with collecting payments from customers as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial sales, preferably in a service-oriented industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in creating quotes, contracts, and managing customer follow-ups.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Clear and enthusiastic communicator.

Qualifications

  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
  • Highly experienced background in plumbing trade and well versed in MA plumbing code.
  • Experienced in quoting commercial projects.

Your Responsibilities

As a TruGreen Territory Sales Representative, you can use your people skills to help new and existing customers find the right lawn care maintenance plans, both at people's homes and/or by phone. If you are focused, goal oriented, and have great communication skills, then this is the role for you!

Job Requirements

  • Experience working in a customer facing role is preferred.

  • Must be a gifted storyteller with an awesome personality who will make quality sales for TruGreen.

  • Reliable vehicle to transport yourself from the branch to property visits is required (mileage reimbursement OR car allowance is available).

  • Valid, current driver's license required; subject to pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record check, and proof of insurance required.
