**Position Purpose:**
The Sales Executive, a member of Shred-its sales team, is responsible for the direct sales of Shred-it's services to potential and existing customers within an assigned territory. The Sales Executive is responsible for all aspects of sales, pipeline building, qualifying target opportunities, managing the sales cycle, closing orders and following through to revenue. The Sales Executive maintains Shred-its policies, standards, and practices both within and outside their assigned territory and ensures adherence to Shred-it's Vision, Mission and Values.
**_The Sales Executive will cover: Rockford, Elgin, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Mount Prospect, Des Plaines, Wheaton area other surrounding areas as their territory. Candidate must reside within the territory._**
**Key Job Activities:**
+ Aggressively sell document destruction services to prospective customers in a specific territory.
+ In conjunction with the District Sales Manager, develop and set specific and measurable sales targets on a monthly and annual basis
+ Develops and maintains a pipeline of opportunities for the assigned territory.
+ Develops and maintains a sales strategy for the assigned territory.
+ Maintains a personal level of expertise of Shred-it services and competitive solutions.
+ Develops customer lead activity through telephone and door-to-door cold-calling, appointment setting and direct mail campaign .
+ Participates in all sales and other training provided by Shred-it.
+ Implements and demonstrates best practices to sell Shred-it solutions to prospective and existing customers.
+ Participates in special projects and promotional campaigns under the direction of the District Sales Manager.
+ Reports daily activities and sales results to the District Sales Manager.
+ Maintains a responsible approach to all security and safety matters related to Shred-it operations, following the company's policies and procedures at all times and bringing the manager's attention to any area of concern.
+ Liaises with customers to understand their requirements with respect to products and services that the business currently offers or is planning to offer.
+ Establishes personal relationships with current and potential customers in the assigned territory.
+ Serves as a Helpful Expert in exceeding customer expectations on a regular basis.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
**Experience:**
+ Post-secondary education, is preferred but not required.
+ 1-2 years previous sales experience / prospecting in business-to-business services involving varying sales cycles and multiple levels of decision makers is preferred but not required.
+ Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and strong internet skills.
+ Knowledge of sales theory and sales cycle.
+ Ability to travel within given sales territory.
+ Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
+ Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 Base + Uncapped monthly commission

**Required:**

**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
**Managing Sales Activities**
- Works with Property Sales Leader (ASL or DOS/DOSM) in identifying the top accounts of each stakeholder hotel, determine account deployment structure, identify key buyers within each account, and coordinate efforts to drive demand and pull-through business from the accounts for the stakeholder hotels.

- Maintains complete and up-to-date lead information on each account in CI/TY SFA Web and EMPOWER to verify accurate reporting and customer base information.
- Qualifies and maintains customer's long-term business potential and refers customers to market, field, hotel or national sales office, as required.
- Verifies accurate and timely lead turnover to other Sales Channels and partners closely with the Multi-Hotel Sales to ensure qualified leads are entered into CI/TY SFAWeb.
- Leverages MI Leads for Out of Org, Non-Deployed Accounts.
- Presents stakeholder hotel benefits and features based on customer needs.
- Understands and utilizes all business processes written in support of the sales organization.
- Utilizes negotiation skills and creative selling abilities to uncover new business.
- Uses all information systems (e.g., CI/TY SFA Web, MRDW, MarRFP-SAPP, Hoteligence, Account Relationship Management (ARM) to research the deployment and value of the accounts deemed important for stakeholder hotels.

- Communicates trends, opportunities, and market changes to appropriate parties, as needed.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $98,000 annually. What we offer:
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. Members of the sales function are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan. The annual target incentive for this position is 75% of the base salary, paid quarterly, and is contingent upon performance. You will bring 5+ years of relevant sales expertise, ideally within the vertical transportation industry, to our KONE family and an appetite for learning an exciting and new field. You will use the knowledge gained when obtaining your bachelor's degree or additional 7+ years of experience.
**Annual Base** **Pay Range:**
The hiring range for this role is $111,000 - $150,000. The compensation package offered will depend on their ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.

As a direct member of a sales and advisory team, a Sales Executive (SE) is responsible for taking on the account leadership of new and existing relationships. The Sales Executive will develop new business opportunities, manager overall client relationships with support of a service team, and lead strategy on complex accounts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Developing New Relationships
  • Developing a network of outside influencers using various methods including but not limited to referrals, industry associations, and other professional service providers
  • Actively prospecting new business opportunities through the use of our sales tools, your personal and professional networks, Gibson-sponsored events, referrals, etc.
  • Creating synergy across Gibson practice areas while identifying cross-selling and account rounding opportunities
  • Following up on leads in a timely manne
    • Managing all sales activity within our customer relations management system
    • Engaging in professional and networking activities that maintain and expand the current book of business
  • Achieving annual sales goal at or above agency standards
  • Maintaining an active pipeline of 3x annual sales goals
  • Leading Risk Management Strategies for Existing Relationships
  • Providing efficient, professional, courteous service to clients in conjunction with Client Executives, Client Managers and Account Managers
  • Analyzing risk, coverage, program structure and recommending options; executing coverage and program changes
  • Leveraging insurance knowledge and communication skills to explain coverage terms, program options, and other items to clients as needed
  • Offering innovative solutions, educating clients on insurance solutions available in the marketplace and solving difficult risk issues
  • Working closely with service teams to review carrier proposals, analyze market summaries, and prepare renewal documents ensuring timeframes and deliverables are met
  • Keeping current with carriers, strategic partners, products/services and applicable legislation
  • Performing other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Acting as a backup to team personnel when necessary
  • Maintaining confidential information

  • Have prior insurance sales and/or client executive experience in an agency, broker, or insurance company setting
  • Have prior experience in building and/or growing a book of business in a professional services industry

The Principal Sales Executive will:

LMA (Lead – Manage – Accountability)

  • Manage assigned tasks and objectives from start to finish
  • Own Account Plans to win opportunities
  • Lead sales process and contribute to the internal development of our practice through participation in areas such as new sales enablement materials, outreach and conversion campaigns, sales “plays” and processes, internal and customer training, and other sales and customer journey initiatives

Generate Leads Through Direct Hunting

  • Conduct research and outreach to identify and qualify potential leads and connect with decision makers
  • Engage with sales partners and utilize internal company resources in defining and implementing sales strategies
  • Develop strategic sales campaigns to generate target market leads
  • Develop and execute creative prospecting plans that leverage your own experience and network to engage clients to drive new opportunities

Generate Leads Through Vendor Partnerships

  • Conduct Vendor Strategy Meetings to identify targeted list of leads
  • Plan and execute account hunting plans to convert Client Meetings
  • Work with vendor partners and the Transformation Services team to determine what capabilities best fit client needs

Lead Sales Process as Opportunity Owner

  • Develop sequence of events and manage sales process to drive opportunities to closed won
  • Manage resource allocation with Transformation Services team for active opportunities
  • Manage the oversight of active projects alongside the Director of Sales
  • Utilize HubSpot and Salesforce to organize leads, activities, and notes

Lead Customer Satisfaction through Key Client and Vendor Relationships

  • Position yourself as trusted advisor to the C-Suite and IT executives through the entire sales process
  • Work with clients and vendor partners to create champions
  • Create and maintain a high-level presence to facilitate sales and maintain strong relationships
  • Participate in executive leadership stakeholder meetings
  • Develop an understanding of each client's business objectives and a strategy for supporting the client in achieving their goals

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have 3-7 years of consulting and solution selling experience with enterprise C-Suite and customer experience executives on transformational technology or business solutions (Direct experience with call center, unified communications or related solutions is a plus)
  • Be proficient in leading a complex sales process (SaaS sales and/or consulting experience is a plus)
  • Be a hunter mentality with a track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Direct knowledge of enterprise CCaaS and UCaaS technology vendors and trends is a plus (Curiosity and the aptitude to learn quickly is a must)
  • Be highly skilled at using a CRM to stay organized and report on activity (Salesforce experience is a plus)
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
  • Have strong organizational skills to diligently track activities in project management tools
  • Be a self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced, low supervision environment
  • Have a high sense of urgency to ensure customer outcomes and satisfaction; able to “hold tension” on deals in the pipeline.
