**Position Purpose:**
The Sales Executive, a member of Shred-its sales team, is responsible for the direct sales of Shred-it's services to potential and existing customers within an assigned territory. The Sales Executive is responsible for all aspects of sales, pipeline building, qualifying target opportunities, managing the sales cycle, closing orders and following through to revenue. The Sales Executive maintains Shred-its policies, standards, and practices both within and outside their assigned territory and ensures adherence to Shred-it's Vision, Mission and Values.
**The Sales Executive will cover Brooklyn and Staten Island and other surrounding areas. Candidate must reside within the territory.**
**Key Job Activities:**
+ Aggressively sell document destruction services to prospective customers in a specific territory.
+ In conjunction with the District Sales Manager, develop and set specific and measurable salestargets on a monthly and annual basis
+ Develops and maintains a pipeline of opportunities for the assigned territory.
+ Develops and maintains a sales strategy for the assigned territory.
+ Maintains a personal level of expertise of Shred-it services and competitive solutions.
+ Develops customer lead activity through telephone and door-to-door cold-calling, appointment setting and direct mail campaign .
+ Participates in all sales and other training provided by Shred-it.
+ Implements and demonstrates best practices to sell Shred-it solutions to prospective and existing customers.
+ Participates in special projects and promotional campaigns under the direction of the District Sales Manager.
+ Reports daily activities and sales results to the District Sales Manager.
+ Maintains a responsible approach to all security and safety matters related to Shred-it operations, following the company's policies and procedures at all times and bringing the manager's attention to any area of concern.
+ Liaises with customers to understand their requirements with respect to products and services that the business currently offers or is planning to offer.
+ Establishes personal relationships with current and potential customers in the assigned territory.
+ Serves as a Helpful Expert in exceeding customer expectations on a regular basis.
+ This is a hunter position - no warm leads are provided.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
**Experience:**
+ Post-secondary education, is preferred but not required.
+ 1-2 years previous sales experience / prospecting in business-to-business services involving varying sales cycles and multiple levels of decision makers is preferred but not required.
+ Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and strong internet skills.
+ Knowledge of sales theory and sales cycle.
+ Ability to travel within given sales territory.
+ Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
+ Compensation: Base $55-$65,000 + Uncapped commissions

- Provides strategic segment insight to Sales Executives focused on transient Hotel Sales Objectives and are soliciting new BT business from small business accounts, sourcing new accounts, identifying new targets, and re-soliciting past business leads to maximize hotel transient share. Completes other reasonable duties as requested by leadership.
**Building Successful Relationships**
- Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future business through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
- Develops relationships within the community to strengthen and expand customer base transient sales opportunities.
- Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels (e.g., Area Sales, Global Sales Organization, Account Sales) to verify the property needs are being achieved and the sales efforts are complementary, not duplicative.
- Maintains proper and timely communication with the account customer(s) to verify overall satisfaction and quick resolutions. Partners with Event Management and/or Operations in providing a customer experience that exceeds the customer's expectations.
- Executes exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and verifying their satisfaction before and during their program/event.
- Implements the brand's service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process and drives customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
- Serves the customer by understanding their needs and recommending the appropriate features and services that best meet their needs and exceed their expectations, while building a relationship and loyalty to Marriott.
- Gains understanding of the property's primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solution both prior to, and during, the program/event.
- Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocate sound business decision-making; demonstrate honesty/integrity; lead by example.
- Collaborates effectively with peers, managers, and customers in a global and culturally diverse environment.
The hourly pay range for this position is $44.71 to $59.13. **What does a successful Sales Executive, Credit Issuer Solutions do at Fiserv?**
The Issuer sales team supports our largest financial institutions with all their issuing needs. You will utilize your savvy sales professional skills to help our clients push innovation to differentiate themselves from their market competitors using Fiserv solutions. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing a geographically based portfolio of clients. You are responsible to provide enterprise clients with industry best practices and strategic input to deepen our overall partnership and create new partnerships.
**What you will do:**
+ Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the credit issuer payments space to sell Fiserv products and services to our clients
+ Manage the acquired sales from close to implementation
+ Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients to showcase the benefits of our payment solutions
+ Continually illustrate the value of the Fiserv partnership by providing measurement data such as ROIs and program performance updates
+ Conduct a regular cadence of communication with the client at all levels and disciplines by effectively articulating the Fiserv value proposition.
+ Build strong relationships in your assigned territory with C-suite and operational level leadership.
+ Ensure proactive accountability to the client leading to enhanced client experience and retention.
+ Coordinate the appropriate resources to meet varying client requirements including product specialists, solution consultants and service sales to generate new business opportunities
**What you will need to have:**
+ 10+ years sales experience in the credit issuing payments space
+ Experience in effectively interacting with all levels of clients including executive level management
+ Ability to travel 30%
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience, education and military service

+ Knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape to stay ahead of the game
+ Experience in using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines and track progress
+ A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
