Air Engineers is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in our Sarasota, FL location, responsible for managing customer accounts, providing product information, and processing orders. The role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting outside sales efforts, and engaging in outbound call activity to achieve sales targets.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. Candidates must live within a commutable distance from our Sarasota, FL location. Remote work is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, solving customer problems, and offering product recommendations.
  • Order Processing: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Sales Support: Support outside sales representatives by preparing quotes, following up on leads, and maintaining customer records.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of HVAC products, including features, benefits, and applications.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Sales Targets: Engage in outbound phone and email communications to drive profitable sales growth, meet or exceed sales targets, and contribute to the overall sales goals of the company.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records, prepare regular reports on sales activities, and update the CRM system.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred, not required.
  • Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or HVAC distribution is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of HVAC system and products is an advantage

Working Conditions

Work is normally performed in an office or warehouse environment with limited exposure to physical risk. Regular working hours with occasional overtime are associated with this position.
