Job Description

We are currently looking for a results-oriented, pro-active and highly qualified Sales Representative to join our team. In this role you will be responsible to ensure solid growth within the North American market. You will have the opportunity to deliver major impact on our business while developing and implementing the projections, forecasts and long-range planning strategies that will fuel our success today and into the future.

The ideal candidate will have a combination of a strong international sales background within the flexible packaging industry, analytic depth, communication skills, negotiation abilities, and familiarity with working within a decentralized organization.


Primary Duties

  • Increase the Bag-in-Box market share in North America through extensive prospecting, managing the process including generating leads, bidding for new work and developing innovative supply solutions. Develop new customer interactions, either directly or through reseller partners.
  • Lead the creation of strategic vision and targets in order to drive profitable growth and value for both Smurfit Westrock and Key customers.
  • Full involvement in customer negotiations and overall project management and accounts' budget.
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, including R&D, quality, finance, supply chain and marketing to identify opportunities for innovation, and activation to advance our position with customers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the results obtained to establish any possible variations and take corrective action in that regard.
  • Analyse the market for competitors and possible products which improve on the performance and utility of current products.
  • Advise GM and business owners at the earliest opportunity of any concerns they may have about the sales performance of the business and/or its processes.
  • Support exponential market growth in North America.
  • Play a critical role in strengthening the sales group across Bag in Box North America.
  • Deliver strong long-term results in a very competitive market.
  • Extensive travel across North America will be required.

Job Requirements:

  • Brings extensive (at least 7 years) sales development experience within the flexible packaging industry.
  • Previous successful leadership experience is required, with an agility to engage with people remotely in a decentralized organization.
  • Proven analytical skills: ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a plan.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely.
  • Superior presentation skills, both in development of compelling stories and in presenting them at all levels within customer and internal organization.
  • Decisive, action-oriented, and able to manage deliverables effectively. Strong sense of ownership and flexibility when operational challenges occur.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to autonomously manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Drives for innovation.
  • Enjoys finding solutions to problems and has a hands-on mentality.
  • Energy and drive to motivate positive change within the team.

The Sales Merchandiser (SM) is responsible for replenishing, merchandising, and ordering products at all designated accounts. The Sales Merchandiser is the primary Coke Florida associate in customer accounts to continuously stock and order Coke Florida products to replenish per consumer needs. The Sales Merchandiser maintains customer relationships across all sales channels. Responsibilities: ? Build and maintain product displays and equipment placements in compliance with company standards. ? Maintain appropriate product inventory levels in beverage sections and throughout accounts including shelf allocation and cold equipment. ? Place timely, accurate orders per ad calendar to maintain inventory levels. Adjust orders based on influencing factors. ? Manage back stock inventory levels and trade breakage in assigned accounts. ? Meet customer service expectations through daily communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow up. ? Maintain professional, team relationship with co-workers, customers, and shoppers. ? Maintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets and point of sale, ensuring account meets company merchandising standards. Properly face and spin product per applicable standards. ? Determine stores' product needs, place and transmit appropriate order. ? Conduct store surveys. ? Communicate account activities, including equipment service needs, to appropriate parties. ? Maintain merchandising standards while rotating products each time in designated accounts. ? Organize backroom inventory in an ordered manner. ? Maintain cleanliness of equipment, sales floor, and shelves. ? Transport, replace, and maintain point of sale advertising as appropriate for account. ? Maintain regular and punctual attendance. ? Work overtime as assigned. ? Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. ? Identifying and reporting any unsafe working conditions. ? Comply with dress code or appearance/grooming standards. ? Work shifts and work schedules as assigned.
