Are you a handy person who enjoys fixing and maintaining household items? Do you like to drive and are comfortable spending your days driving across various locations supporting maintenance needs? We are currently looking for someone to join our team as a Runner. No day will be the same! You'll jump from driving supplies to team members across our portfolio of homes, performing general maintenance upkeep and fixes to ultimately helping us keep our vacation homes ready for guests. Must be curious and enjoy troubleshooting!
This is a seasonal position. Employment dates begin as soon as now and work through end of season on or around 09/27/25. As a part-time, seasonal position, exact schedule and hours are varied based on the needs of the business and may fluctuate from one week to the next. For this role you will also work in Nevada as well as California in the South Lake Tahoe area.
Compensation
- $23 / hour. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location.

- Expect the unexpected, no day is the same and it will be spent traveling, performing basic maintenance and tasks in our homes. Flexibility and adaptability is a must.
- Work as part of our operations team to support the day to day, running keys and coming to the rescue of any team member in need!
- Remove trash from homes
- Run linens to Housekeepers
- Use your basic knowledge of maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, fixing blinds and changing light-bulbs.
- Bring your skills and interest to learn home repairs including appliance trouble-shooting, cable/wifi troubleshooting, basic knowledge of HVAC systems and light plumbing (like fixing a leaky sink).
- Correspond on a regular basis via email and phone with the Local team and Central team.
- Order, maintain and replenish maintenance supplies and inventory.

- Computer Savvy: Our custom developed management software has set Vacasa apart as an industry leader. We use our system to manage all aspects of our business. While we will never ask you to do any coding, we will want you to be very comfortable using a computer. If you commonly find yourself saying, "I bet I can get on youtube and figure out how to do that.", you'll be just fine.

Perform basic building maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, cleaning HVAC vents, conducting minor low-voltage electrical work and repairing minor damages
Deliver supplies and materials to and from tax office locations in a timely and organized manner
Support the annual set up and closing of seasonal tax offices, including setting up the office according to the planogram, installing window clings, electrical lightboxes, and open signs, ensuring office cleanliness, performing custodial work, and confirming offices meet overall brand standards
Set up, shut down, and provide ongoing support for PC hardware across multiple office locations with guidance from the District Operation Coordinator and Operations Technical Analyst
Maintain an inventory of district resources
Track and control hot spare computer equipment in the district
Document hardware problems and their resolution within the ticketing system
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of the departments supported products and systems
Participate in all required training relevant to the position and perform other duties as assigned

**Job Specifications:**
+ Starting Wage: $21.00/hr - $2.28/hr
+ Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026
+ Shift Type: Part Time hours available
+ Housing Availability: Yes?
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Greet every guest, understand their needs, and provide exceptional customer service
+ Accurate and efficient processing of all retail sales
+ Learn product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to guests
+ Maintain excellent store visual standards by continually straightening, folding, and restocking merchandise
+ Follow all company standards in regards to safety protocols and standard operating procedures
+ Understand and follow both Vail Resorts' and Patagonia's environmental principles
+ Other duties as assigned
**Job Requirements:**
+ Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends.
+ Commitment to exceptional Customer Service.
+ Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods.
+ Must be able to communicate fluently in English
The expected pay range is 21.00/hr - 22.28/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
