Description
The Business Analyst will have a primary role in strategic projects. This position will be involved in managing strategic business initiatives, performing analysis of business processes, documenting requirements, mapping business process flows and leading project teams. The business analyst position will contribute to business growth by reducing costs and improving customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
+ Work at the ground level with key business units to identify process issues
+ Directly manage project teams and coordinate implementations beginning to end
+ Oversee multiple projects ensuring appropriate project resources are in place to ensure project success.
+ Define requirements to solve business problems with software changes or custom development.
+ Breakdown requirements for developers and ensure requirements are clearly communicated
+ Test newly developed software features and coordinate the release into production
+ Assist with establishing project management processes throughout the company
+ Document business processes and prepare data for analysis
+ Analyze business processes and develop process solutions
+ Communicate with management and other key stakeholders on project progress
+ Other duties as assigned
Requirements
+ Experience working with ERPs (NetSuite experience a big plus!)
+ 4 year degree or equivalent business experience
+ At least 4 years of experience in performing technical business analysis
+ 2 years of IT experience and software implementation projects
+ Strong knowledge of project management processes
+ Experience with the software development process and software development best practices
+ Strong communication skills
+ Experience with creating technical documentation and mapping business processes
+ Ability to work with teams and share responsibility
+ Business analyst skills, project management, leadership and a strong technical understanding of business systems will be key factors of success in this position.
