Our client, a well-established financial services firm, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in Charlotte, North Carolina, US . This is a critical on-site role where you will play a key part in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior management. You will be responsible for preparing financial reports, analyzing variances, identifying trends, and recommending strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Collaboration with various departments, including accounting, operations, and sales, will be essential to gather data and ensure accurate financial reporting. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Analyze financial performance, identify key drivers of profitability, and provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Support the annual budgeting process by coordinating with department heads and consolidating budget submissions.

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting is essential. CPA or CFA designation is a plus. Proficiency in financial modeling software, advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) are mandatory.
