**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**
Contract Administration
+ Ensure all prime contract reporting obligations and deliverables are identified and complied with
+ Setup company standard quantity tracking system
+ Setup and manage document control system including drawings and specifications, submittals, RFIs, correspondence, meeting notes, etc. Coordinate with ATS to establish project UFS folders and access rights.
+ Review submittals for proper coordination and adherence to the plans and specifications
+ Draft and maintain project correspondence
+ Attend progress, planning, and safety meetings
+ Assist with mobilization activities on the project, working with the superintendent
+ Assist in the review of subcontractor bids for buyout purposes
+ Perform a variety of tasks associated with completion of a project, including closeout documentation, completion reports, collection of final monies due, etc.
+ Review and evaluate subcontractor pay applications, approve and code invoices and sign pay requests
+ Prepare closeout documents
+ Prepare and submit customer pay requests, ensuring that billings are processed in an accurate, timely manner.
+ Distribute change requests for pricing and schedule impact.
+ Prepare draft proposed change pricing inclusive of cost and schedule evaluations. Maintain proposed changes in the project change order log.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and quality reviews in the UFS
Cost and Productivity Management
+ Analyze and be responsible for budget and quantity updates for job cost reporting
+ Review and approve daily time and quantity reporting to insure accurate job cost reporting
+ Assist in establishing and maintaining job cost reporting in accordance with company policy.
+ Produce and review productivity reports with the project team at regular intervals and ensure that management is kept up-to-date on unit costs and schedule attainment for the work and how it compares with the budget.
+ Assist the superintendent in the development of Work Plans
Scheduling
+ Ensure timely procurement and delivery of all required construction materials and permanent materials in support of project schedule requirements.
+ Assist in developing the project schedule. Update and maintain schedule as job progresses. Ensure schedule is updated to incorporate change orders, field performance, availability of construction materials, and other factors that may impact the project schedule.
+ Creating and update detailed "Look Ahead" schedules
+ Submit schedule updates as required by the contract documents
Relationships
+ Ability to develop and maintain the trust of the customers, owners, and engineers
+ Effective working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
Safety and Environmental
+ Perform safety observations and ensure correction of hazardous conditions
+ Assist in development of project specific safety plans
+ Assist in management of environmental compliance
**Technical/Education**
+ Four year degree in technical discipline.
+ 10-15 years of scheduling experience
+ Demonstrated collegiate-level computer skills, mathematics, communication skills, and technical writing, with an aptitude for mastering the additional skills required of the position

**Summary**
The **Project Engineer** supports field activities and spends a majority of time working with the Project Manager supporting project administration on multiple small projects, or one medium to large-size projects. ABOUT THE ROLE
The basic function of the Plant Manager is to provide the necessary leadership to plan, direct, organize,
coordinate and control the mining of raw materials and the production of shippable product at the assigned
Plant in a manner to meet Aggregate Dispatcher requests on a timely and cost efficient basis. The Plant
Manager will be tasked with ensuring that an appropriate quality product is made at the Plant.
The Plant Manager will ensure proper staffing and monitoring of the inventory status at the Plant and in
addition will coordinate activities with the following departments: Aggregate Operations Department -
Dispatch, Fleet Maintenance Department, and Quality Control Department of the Region in addition Regional
Administration / Financial function.
The Plant Manager will analyze and monitor production efficiency / productivity to ensure the Company is
fully utilizing on site vehicles and plant equipment at the assigned location. In addition, the Plant Manager will
develop mining and production strategies and tactics to ensure an approach to raise productivity levels,
maintaining safety as a top propriety, while controlling the costs of the assigned location.

attainment of improved efficiency and productivity.

Job Description
As a Project Engineer, you will join a project team tasked with the responsibility for all technical and engineering aspects of your project. You will lead daily coordination between our clients, trade partners, engineers, architects, and our employees. The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, scheduling, predicting, and managing all the technical tasks to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality for the lifecycle of the project.
**Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate with the Project Managers in purchasing activities including scoping and take-offs.
+ Prepare and forward submittals; confirm submittal complies with plans/specs.
+ Support the development and updating of the project schedule and subcontractor detail schedules.
+ Play a lead role in the development of project plans.
+ Monitor and expedite material deliveries ensuring all deliveries conform with the project schedule.
+ Review change proposals from trade partners and negotiate as appropriate.
+ Facilitate with the Project Manager and Superintendent in the coordination of drawings.
+ Draft change orders. Solicit prices from subcontractors and suppliers. Perform scope take-off and estimate costs.
+ Lead close out of project; includes assembling manuals and other warranties for turnover to owner and preparation final payment documents for subcontractors.
+ Develop and lead training sessions for your team and trade partners.
+ Take ownership of document management applications.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline or relevant work experience.
+ 2+ years experience in an engineer, project engineer, or a similar role in the construction industry.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, and general project administration.

**The Physical Side of the Role:** This is an active, hands-on role. You can expect to be on your feet frequently, navigating active job sites with uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and hoists. The **Project Engineer** will:
+ Provide design and test support in various aspects of development in support of the Johnson Space Center Engineering Directorate
+ Support project teams with development of test procedures and verification and validation processes.
+ Perform testing and verification of flight hardware.
+ Maintain and ensure baseline test configurations and document any configuration changes.
+ Generate essential paperwork and documents for tasks assigned, such as Task Performance Sheets (TPS), Discrepancy Reports (DR), and Detailed Test Procedures (DTP), as needed.
+ Work in a collaborative, team environment and report to project managers for technical support, task assignment, and processes.
