**Responsibilities:**
+ Create and implement comprehensive SEO plans to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic for Cengage Marketing websites
+ Work closely with go-to-market partners to align SEO strategies with business goals and objectives
+ Act as the main liaison with SEO consultants/services to review and enhance SEO plans to improve search engine rankings and ensure alignment with business goals
+ Develop an overarching go-to-market SEO strategy plan for Cengage Group Marketing that considers all business unit marketing websites and regions
+ Work with social and paid media teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts
+ Work with web production owners to implement technical and content SEO strategies
+ Guide content teams with targeted keyword strategies. Create keyword playbooks and train teams on how to implement
+ Identify and work with internal teams to resolve technical SEO issues to optimize website performance
+ Track SEO metrics such as traffic, rankings, and conversion rates, share of voice, competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly
+ Regularly meet and provide actionable recommendations and clear, concise reports to stakeholders on the status of their SEO campaigns
+ Keep abreast of the SEO trends and algorithm updates to maintain competitive advantage

**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Decision Science, Information Technology or related field.
+ 5+ years of experience as an SEO lead in a fast-paced environment
+ In-depth knowledge and demonstrated proficiency with standard SEO tools (e.g., BrightEdge, Moz, Google Search Console, GA4)
+ Proficiency with Excel
+ Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze large sets of data and use it to guide SEO strategy and decision-making

The Home office of Roto-Rooter in downtown Cincinnati, has an opportunity for an on-site , hourly paid, Digital Marketing Specialist . The hourly rate for this position is $28.85-$31.25, depending on experience. You may be eligible for a yearly performance based bonus. This position also comes with either a monthly bus pass or nearby paid garage parking that you can use 7 days a week!
The Digital Marketing Specialist will assist the Director of Digital Marketing and will work closely with both external agencies as well as other members of the Roto-Rooter marketing team. This candidate will help execute and manage multiple areas of digital marketing, including but not limited to Email Marketing, SMS, SEO strategy and implementation, Website development, content management, optimization and support. He/she must have strong organizational skills, be proficient in Excel and have experience overseeing projects while working in a very dynamic and fast past environment. The Digital marketing specialist will execute multiple projects simultaneously to help in our digital marketing objectives.
Responsibilities- Strategize, project manage and help execute a variety of digital initiatives simultaneously, including but not limited to Email Marketing, SMS, SEO, website development, content management and support.
- Ensure internal and external teams are aligned with project requirements. Monitor progress, thoroughly test and validate to confirm best practices are met. Oversee, implement, and manage projects/teams to achieve tight deadlines.
- Provide leadership and support during strategy, ideation, overall project scope and implementation for a variety of digital marketing programs.
- Help manage and maintain databases, content, and change requests for website using a content management system (CMS).
- Facilitate support of the website with the development team to address breaks/fixes of the website and upgrades.
- Write project briefs and documentation of new developments.
- Build and implement multi-channel communications.
- Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with multiple agencies and internal Roto-Rooter departments to enhance partnerships and collaboration for link-building strategies.
- Report and measure digital initiatives to provide ongoing strategy for continued optimizations.
- Assist in implementing various SEO strategies, optimizations, and keyword research to enhance SEO performance and content relevance.
- Build, execute, and report performances on marketing campaigns
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing.
- Experience with content management systems, SEO and/or email marketing is preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to plan, manage and meet multiple priorities in a dynamically changing landscape.
- Ability to solve problems and work well in both team and individual settings.
- Expertise in multi-tasking, strategizing, organizing, and prioritizing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Has experience with Content Management Systems and email marketing tool. Familiar with Adobe Photoshop. Basic knowledge of HTML code is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Will represent the company and maintain professionalism on the phone, video chat and in-person meetings.
