The ServiceNow Lead Developer will be a part of a transformative team that is focused on optimizing the teammate support experience at Truist. This lead will collaborate with analysts and product owners to design and implement solutions that meet the business need, optimizes product capabilities, and deliver a frictionless support experiences for our teammates. This teammate will bring significant experience across multiple ServiceNow modules, but with specific depth in the implementation and optimization of Employee Center Pro, ITSM, WSD, and mobile implementation. This experienced developer will have extensive experience with implementing ServiceNow spokes and custom integrations with HR and endpoint management applications. They will be responsible for high-quality, scalable, and reusable solutions while ensuring best practice in coding standards, integration, extensibility, and security. Day-to-day will involve review, development, testing, defect remediation, and implementation of application specific development requests. You will partner with platform architecture, product owners, and business partners for technical designs and technical implementation to ensure use cases are met in the most effective manner for the underlying ServiceNow platform. You will create a collaborative development team environment and guide junior team members. Provide request review and feedback to product owners including estimated work effort, dependencies, and sustainability during prioritization meetings aligning to Truist's mission and goals.

- Create processes and standards for developing on the ServiceNow platform and lead design and code reviews
- Perform day to day administrative support for users, groups, roles and integrations
- Work with the Product Owner to provide work estimates on user stories and assign work to development staff according to business priorities
- Troubleshoot issues and develop long term solutions
- Minimum 5 years of JavaScript development experience
- Minimum 5 year of ServiceNow development experience
- ServiceNow Administrator Certificate, ServiceNow Developer Certification, ITIL Foundation Level Certification
- Expertize in the following Web technologies (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, HTML, Angular JS)
- Experience implementing and maintaining a CMDB
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach
- Attention to details and strong ownership of work
- Demonstrated experience in identifying complex problems, reviewing information to develop and evaluate options then implementing solutions
- Must have experience with multiple ServiceNow implementations and have developed custom application
- Experience creating custom widgets for the Service Portal
- Experience with the ServiceNow Automated Testing Framework
- Experience gathering requirements and/or Quality Assurance Testing
