**What You Will Do**
The Manager Entity Compliance is responsible for managing and coordinating the Compliance and Privacy Program for the assigned Sharp HealthCare entities, and, in collaboration with compliance leadership, ensuring effective oversight and management of compliance operations with an intent of preventing and detecting violations of law and other misconduct and to promote ethical practices and a commitment to compliance with applicable federal, California, and local laws, rules, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 5 Years years of healthcare compliance experience with increasing responsibility and experience, including at least three years' experience conducting compliance audits and investigations. Strong compliance orientation, coupled with healthcare processes expertise.
+ experience in healthcare operations and related regulatory requirements such as Fraud, Waste, and Abuse, Privacy and Security, Conflict of Interest, and other federal/state legislation.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 3 Years experience in acute healthcare environment in a complex health system.
+ Certified Health Care Compliance (CHC) - Compliance Certification Board -PREFERRED
+ Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) - Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) -PREFERRED
+ Certified Compliance Officer (CCO) - Various-Employee provides certificate -PREFERRED
**Other Qualification Requirements**
+ Certification in Compliance required. The department will track and maintain this certification.
**Essential Functions**
+ Work closely with Compliance Director and Entity Leadership to identify and mitigate risks and potential areas of non-compliance. Actively participates in the annual/ongoing risk assessment processes, implementing the compliance workplan and other related risk mitigation initiatives.
+ Plan, execute and manage investigations, engaging Compliance Leadership and other subject matter experts as needed to effectively manage timely and thorough reviews, maintain appropriate documentation, provide periodic written and verbal updates to leadership. Support the design and implementation of corrective action plans.
+ In collaboration with Compliance Leadership, develop and implement education for various entity groups.
+ Stay informed of new and emerging areas of compliance and privacy risks, trends to ensure implementation of best practices
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
+ Strong Leadership and relationship building skills with demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with others.
+ Experience writing, developing and implementing health care compliance workplans, audits, policy and procedure.
+ Ability to demonstrate issue identification, exercise sound decision making and leverage appropriate escalation pathway.
+ Proven ability to organize, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

**What You Will Do**
Under the supervision of a pharmacist, provides technical knowledge, skill and expertise required for the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical care that supports the mission, values and philosophy of Pharmacy Services and Sharp HealthCare. **Essential Functions**
+ IV preparation managementPrepares all IV admixtures in strict accordance with established guidelines.Properly handles and prepares chemotherapeutic agents using the appropriate precautions in the Biological Safety Cabinet (BSC).Runs fill lists (IV labels) and organizes workload to accomplish all admixture tasks in time to meet established batch delivery times.Performs primary check of labeling to ascertain completeness of label according to established procedures.Always obtains pharmacist check prior to dispensing IV admixtures.Responds to special admixture requests to meet criteria established for STAT, ASAP and NOW IV admixtures.Recycles IVs where possible and removes expired products from circulation.Maintains IV area in a clean/orderly manner and restocks prior to the end of shift.

+ Medication deliveryDelivers medications to and accurately places medications in Pyxis MedStationsExchanges medication cassettes within designated time frame, appropriately transfers bulk medications/ removes discontinued medications from non-exchange medication cassettes.Routinely checks nursing station refrigerators for discontinued medications.Responds to special delivery requests to meet criteria established for STAT, ASAP and NOW medication orders.
+ Medication safety and useParticipates in surveillance initiatives such as: Pyxis override report monitoring, anesthesia controlled substance audits, medication safety event reporting etc.Proactively identifies potential medication safety improvement opportunities such as look alike, sound alike medication storage and packaging issues, delivery / storage / security related issues, inventory management issues etc.Proactively participates in the development of medication safety initiatives to prevent occurrence or reoccurrence of medication safety events.Demonstrates awareness of medication safety communications delivered by pharmacy management and safe medication practice pharmacist.Prepares laboratory reports, target renal lists and other targeted report data as required for pharmacist consult or advisory service review.

Summary
Responsible for serving as the first point of contact for patients. - Adhere to all policies, procedures, and federal, state, and local laws to ensure the protection of patients' personal and financial information.
- Support the call center, as scheduled.
- Ensure the waiting area, front desk, and restroom are free of clutter and remain clean and sanitized. Clean and stock the providers' rooms.
- Perform other administrative duties and/or support projects, as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a professional setting.
