**Shipping/Receiving Clerk FMC**
We're hiring a **Shipping/Receiving Clerk** ! You'll handle routine manual and automated post-press functions, using basic computer systems for efficient material flow. If you're detail-oriented and comfortable with computers, we want to hear from you.
**Shift:** Monday - Friday, 3 PM - 11 PM
**Pay Rate:** $18/hour
**Responsibilities:**
+ Perform manual and automated post-press tasks.
+ Use basic computer systems for tasks like checking orders and generating labels.
+ Efficiently gather materials and stock supply areas.
+ Ensure accurate quantities and correct shipping labels.
+ Meet company service requirements for labeling and sorting.
+ May inspect products and manifest orders.
**Qualifications:**
+ Ability to perform routine manual tasks.
+ Basic computer proficiency.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse environment is a plus.
**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour

As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. You will report to a Supervisor and use a WMS (Warehouse Management System) to work with receivers to supply paperwork and create reporting for all shipping and receiving activities. You will work Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and will be paid weekly at $22.18 per hour.
**How you create impact**
+ Validate and record inbound and outbound data manually and systematically (WMS)
+ Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments
+ Ensure accuracy, prepare and create pick list, packing list, and POD (Point of Delivery) recovery for inbound or outbound activities
+ Communicate with carriers, customer, operations, and management
+ Perform clerical responsibilities such as filing, inbound/outbound phone calls, use of radio, data entry
+ Verify and receive product into inventory
**What we would like you to bring**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of order entry systems
+ WMS and customer service experience

Requirements
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shipping and receiving operations within our facility, with a focus on handling of controlled substances in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments of controlled substances.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and company policies governing the handling and distribution of controlled substances, including DEA regulations.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to prevent theft, diversion, and unauthorized access to controlled substances.
- Ensure the facility is compliant to ship scheduled substances through accurate completion of all required DEA documentation such as quota applications, inventories, destruction, shipping forms, etc.
- Conduct inspections of incoming shipments to verify product quality and compliance with specifications.
- Keep current on changes to DEA Schedules and policies.
- Anticipate the expectations during a DEA inspection of the facility.
- Collaborate with Facility Management to assess all internal security systems and drive improvements as necessary.
- Understanding of the obligations imposed upon all DEA registrants to complement the basic requirements of FDA to train, mentor, and develop staff.
- Previous experience in a warehouse management role in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
- Knowledge of DEA regulations and other applicable laws governing controlled substances.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.
- Familiar with common ERP, SAP and warehouse management systems.
