**Job Description**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may also be assigned.
+ Manage incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure timely delivery
+ Review shipping documentation and ensure accuracy of information
+ Communicate with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange pick-up and delivery schedules
+ Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations
+ Create and maintain shipping and receiving reports for management review
+ Coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies in shipments or deliveries
+ Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to shipping and receiving
+ Manage and organize warehouse space to optimize storage and minimize damage to products
+ Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including answering questions and resolving issues related to shipping and receiving.

Responsible for pulling parts and supplies from the warehouse which are needed for production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Obtains parts from the warehouse for use in production and verifies the part's lot number to ensure that the proper materials are used.
2. Pulls supplies for assembly workers and ensures that supplies are stocked and readily available for assembly workers.
3. Prints inventory labels and puts the parts in production bins for easy handling by the production workers.
4. Visually checks to ensure that production workers have the products they need.
5. Records the amounts of pulled products.
6. Maintains cleanliness of assigned machines and areas.
7. Performs other related tasks, as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by the Department Supervisor/Lead.
  • Must keep pace with work area and team.
  • Must work as a team player, ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner and communicate well with other team members.
  • Maintain a positive and productive working relationship with all associates, coworkers and upper management.
  • Shipping/Receiving in Dock Area.
  • Operate Fork Lift.
  • Assist other departments as assigned by Supervisor/Lead/Manager.
  • Must follow company's GMP's, SOP's, Rules and Policies.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Strives to satisfy the requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for keeping work area clean.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:

The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs.   • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
