Job Summary:

We are looking for Skilled Carpenters who have 3 - 5 years of finish and trim carpentry experience in a related industry, a clear driving record and the ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-home installation of company products as a team
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Completes and submit installation close-out requirements on a daily basis

Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License, and clear driving record

+ Work in outdoor environments in all seasons

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Maintenance Technician (Semi-Skilled) position.

In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining physical structures of commercial and/or residential buildings, as well as completing assigned work orders by applying general knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, and HVAC. Supports the preventative maintenance schedule.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of technical experience in maintenance
  • General mechanical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and/or painting, as well as HVAC and/or grounds maintenance
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license

  • Talent Sourcing Expertise: Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques, including job boards, our extensive database, Boolean search strategies, and networking, to identify and attract qualified candidates, with a focus on executive-level talent within the skilled trades.

  • Candidate Engagement: Effectively communicate client company value propositions, job opportunities, and career growth potential to candidates, generating excitement and enthusiasm for the roles.

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, including weekly check-in Zoom calls, to understand their hiring needs, provide updates on candidate progress, and gather feedback.

  • Strategic Recruitment: Develop and implement tailored recruiting strategies to meet client requirements and ensure successful placements.

  • Candidate Assessment: Evaluate candidate qualifications, conduct thorough interviews, and assess candidate compatibility with client needs and company culture.

  • Compliance & Screening: Ensure adherence to all applicable compliance mandates and oversee pre-employment screening processes.

What You Bring:

  • Recruitment Experience: 3+ years of experience in recruitment, with a strong emphasis on agency and/or skilled trades recruiting.

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the residential services, commercial services, or construction landscape.
