A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SKILLED TRADESMAN
As a Skilled Tradesman, you provide a variety of restoration and disaster recovery services when sub-contractors aren't an option, ensuring quality workmanship on projects for First Onsite clients. You assist with administrative tasks such as daily field reports, crew sheets, and tracking expenses for projects, but you also provide the physical labor to get things done - from painting to installing, taping, and texturing drywall to installing both interior and exterior finishes. You are the muscle for building, construction, and demolition sites and may even participate in mitigation activities, such as water extraction, mold remediation, emergency board-ups, or tarping roofs. Whether loading/unloading materials, machinery, and tools or cleaning and preparing, you maintain safety at all times and adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety protocols.
You don't hesitate to help the team wherever and whenever you're needed as you are willing to travel and are available for emergency/after-hours/weekend calls. Qualifications
- Minimum:
- Basic computer skills - MS, Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook (Emails)
- Basic ability to operate industry specific tools and equipment
- Intermediate ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and customers
- Must possess a basic set of tools
- Ability to obtain Water Mitigation Certificate within one year
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Must manage working in a busy, service-oriented team under stress to meet deadlines, deal with competing priorities, and demanding service requirements
- Must be able to work overtime, on weekends and able to respond 24/7
- May attend disaster sites and be near hazardous environments and conditions. Travel may be required

Position Description:
Laborers have general responsibility to provide support and assistance to the other skilled crafts working on the project. Laborers employed by Hensel Phelps provide support for the form carpenters and for the concrete operation in general, ironworkers/rodbusters involved in installing reinforcing steel, and masons involved in the installation of block and brickwork. This is a safety sensitive position.
Essential Duties:

Preparation of areas for the placement of concrete involves final excavation of dirt and rock and fine grading for floor slabs. This work involves shoveling for extended periods of time.

Assembly of concrete forms, laborers are required to lift form prefabricated metal form panels and assist in their placement.

Handle the concrete bucket suspended from a crane that transfers the concrete from the concrete truck to the placement area. After the concrete is poured from the bucket, laborers muck the concrete in slabs to spread it evenly.

After the concrete has cured, the laborers assist in stripping the concrete forms and transporting them for storage.
-
Assist concrete finishers in moving power trowels and power screeds used to finish the concrete surface.

Support of block masons installing masonry work by handling and transporting bags of cement, lime, sand, and grout. This includes stocking blocks and bricks.

Assist carpenters in handling and setting door frames. This entails transporting the door frames from the storage area to the work areas and stacking the door frames where needed.

Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools. Distribute site materials to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications. Responsible for ensuring that all materials are properly distributed, and the site is swept and well maintained.

Promote a safe work environment and communicate jobsite hazards. This includes helping to secure the jobsite at the end of business each day and verifying that all site materials are properly stored.

The Construction Laborer will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks in support of workers on the construction sites. Commute assistance and per diem compensation on select projects is available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

About the Role:
Moltz Construction Inc. is looking for a Skilled Laborer to support a wastewater treatment plant project in Broomfield, CO. The project consists of extensive excavation, concrete, interior piping, and equipment work. The project is scheduled to last for 2+ years.
As a Skilled Laborer at Moltz Construction Inc. you will:
- Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on highway construction projects; performs manual work in preparing surfaces for paving
- Shovels bituminous concrete (asphalt) into construction areas
- Assists in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix. Excavates and fills trenches and ditches

How you will make an impact
- Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting the resident's physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs, and focusing on placing the resident first.
- Performing all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice
- Promoting resident's independence by establishing resident care goals, teaching resident/family members to understand a resident's condition, medication, and self-care skills
- Monitoring a resident clinical and care conditions to identify any changes in status and acting on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Working alongside the care associates to perform routine nursing care to assigned residents as needed
- Maintaining infection prevention practices, administering medications, and performing treatments per orders.
- Developing and coordinating a comprehensive Holistic plan of care to meet the resident's clinical and care needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary and neighborhood team
- Supporting resident's preferences, routines, and choices in resident's electronic medical record
- Ensuring that documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
- Participating in care conferences for designated residents as requested by Clinical Manager
