Position Summary: Sunshine Project Management is a leading construction and renovation company committed to delivering high-quality projects to our clients. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Cleaner to join our team and ensure that our construction sites are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Job Description:
As a Construction Cleaner at Sunshine Project Manageme nt you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized construction environment. Your responsibilities will encompass cleaning and sanitizing various areas of construction sites, ensuring a safe and hazard-free workspace for our construction team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Site Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning of construction sites, including but not limited to debris removal, dusting, sweeping, and mopping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Waste Management: Properly dispose of construction debris and waste materials in designated containers or disposal areas in compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Equipment Maintenance: Keep cleaning equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues to the supervisor for prompt maintenance or replacement.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries on the construction site.
• Material Handling: Assist in moving and organizing construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
Quality Control :
• Ensure that the cleaning work meets quality standards and is completed within specified timeframes.
Communication:
• Report any safety hazards, incidents, or unusual site conditions to the supervisor or project manager promptly.
Requirements :
• Proven experience as a construction cleaner or in a similar role within the construction industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning materials, chemicals, and safety protocols.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in construction site safety (e.g., OSHA 10-hour training) is a plus.
