YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, depending on project demands.
As our Laborer - Construction Worker, you'll start your day reporting to our central location before heading to job sites across Western and Central NY, working alongside experienced crew members to keep projects on track and clients thrilled with the results. From organizing tools and loading trailers to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional job site, you'll be part of the team that ensures every project meets or exceeds plans, specs, and client expectations. You'll communicate professionally with clients, help store and protect materials properly, and document progress with both photos and written notes. Whether you're sweeping the site or helping finish up a kitchen remodel, your contribution is vital to upholding our Gold Standard reputation-and building a workplace where everyone takes pride in what we create.
WHAT'S REQUIRED?
- 1 year of trade experience on a construction site
- Some experience in rough/finish carpentry, excavation/site work, towing/trailering, rough/finish plumbing, electrical, masonry, saw cutting, general remodeling (kitchen/baths), or general construction
- Availability Monday through Friday
- Physical ability to lift 80+ lbs and work outdoors year-round
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Strong communication skills
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

This course serves as the fourth-year training in the NYSDOL Apprenticeship pathway. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience and knowledge from the construction industry and a passion for mentoring and preparing students for success in the workforce through real-world learning.
