Full Stack Developer

What you will be doing:

The Full Stack Developer will use back-end Java 8+ and DevOps skills to support the National Time Sensitive System (NTSS) tool suite which delivers critical intelligence around the world at mission speed. In this role you will work with cutting edge technology to manage high-volume and time-sensitive data throughput in response to Intelligence Community and world-wide partner needs. Support includes both sustainment of the existing tools and development of new features and functionality based on high-priority mission needs.

Responsibilities will include: developing distributed software; updating software code and fixing bugs; deploying applications; installing and configuring complex software; managing network servers and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance; writing scripts to automate general system operations or DevOps activities; and troubleshooting and resolving issues and outages.

Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly 1 week out of every 4-6 weeks). Staff may charge 12 additional hours (4 hours per system with 3 systems covered) for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.

What you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Back-end Java 8+
  • Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud
Additional desired technical skills may include experience with:
  • DevOps
  • Kibana/Logstash
  • MongoDB
  • Docker / Docker Compose / Docker Swarm
  • RESTful web services

Clearance : Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role.

Salary range:

$101,996.00 - $219,107.00 (Annually)*
