Abacus Technology is seeking a Web Developer to provide software support for the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) at Quantico. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities- Administer, develop, and test web-based applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).
- Write, test, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle APEX applications, databases, and environments.
- Stay up to date with new Oracle APEX features and best practices.
- Modify previously written source code to add enhancements, fix problems, and make changes to ensure compatibility with current security and other configuration requirements.
- Design, build, test, implement, and maintain software applications for AFOSI.

5+ years experience in developing web application front ends, supporting the full life cycle for implementing web-based systems, and with Oracle Application Express (APEX) programming. Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired. Must be Security+ certified (or hold a similar certification in compliance with DoD 8140 IAT Level II). Oracle APEX certification a plus. Must have extensive experience with Oracle APEX ver 4 and 5. Experience coding in HTML, JavaScript, and knowledge of JavaScript based frameworks.
