The Workday Extend - Model Components Team creates the building blocks of Extend Applications i.e Business Objects, Business Processes, Reports, Tasks and Security Domains, that will enable customers to define their own metadata models and workflows which will live alongside & interact with native Workday owned metadata
Our team is looking for a Software Engineer who will contribute to the design and development of the Core Architecture to power the persistence components that make up a Workday Extend application.

- Experience with microservice architecture/ distributed systems, concurrency and/or multithreading

- Experienced at leading complex projects requiring prototyping & designs from the ground-up
- Strong communication/organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.

We are building a new Zero Trust service team at OCI. Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply expert to advanced knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
The ideal candidate will be technically strong and productive; someone who knows how to balance speed and quality with iterative and incremental improvements. As a Senior Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience, you will be a key member of the OCI Zero Trust Service team, responsible for designing, developing, and operating a suite of Zero Trust Network services and related security technologies. You will work closely with a team of software engineers to solution and create a zero trust network service . The OCI Developer and Observability Products Group is constructing a robust suite of products and services aimed at supporting and enhancing the developer experience and monitoring and operational capabilities of OCI services. Who are we looking for?
We are looking for engineers with distributed systems experience. You should have experience with design of major features and launching them into production. You've operated high-scale services and understand how to make them more resilient. You work on most projects and tasks independently. You have experience working with services that require you to abide by security, compliance and regulations.
The ideal candidate will own the software design and development for major components of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure. You should be both a rock-solid coder and a distributed systems generalist, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and low-level systems, as well as design broad distributed system interactions. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
**Responsibilities**
As a Senior Software Development Engineer within the OCI Developer and Observability Products Group, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of cutting-edge technology platform. This platform is designed to serve as a centralized hub for monitoring, revolutionizing the way OCI services are observed and managed. You will be a core contributor on a team of software engineers working to grow and scale our service.
We understand that software is living and needs investment. The challenge is making the right tradeoffs, communicating those decisions effectively, and crisp execution. We need engineers who can build services that can reliably protect our customer cloud environment. We need engineers who can figure out how we can keep up our solution to securely protect our customers and meet the ever-changing needs of our clientele in this era of rapid growth in AI. We need engineers who can build services that enable us to offer even more options to customers and contribute to the overall growth of Oracle Cloud.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
