This role as a Software Development Engineer involves engaging in trade studies, system engineering, model-based system engineering, portfolio analysis, as well as software development, demonstration, and testing. Primary Responsibilities:
Design and implement containerized environments for Java , C++ , and FORTRAN applications.

Stay current with state-of-the-art programming techniques and emerging technologies.
Conduct software design and code reviews to ensure the highest product quality.
Collaborate with System Engineering teams to coordinate, schedule, and demonstrate capabilities to our customers.
Handle regression coding and deployment challenges alongside third-party contractors and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Software Development or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience . (Additional experience, training, or certifications may substitute for the degree requirement)
Must be a US Citizen and hold an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Strong expertise in C++ and Java programming languages.
Experience in developing micro-services and containerized environments.
A proven ability to work both independently and in collaboration with engineering teams.
Familiarity with Agile software development processes is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in an associated field.
Exceptional communication skills with experience managing multiple tasks effectively.
Experience with FORTRAN .
