**Job Description:**

Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. May focus on web/internet applications specifically, using a variety of languages and platforms. Defines application complexity drivers, estimates development efforts, creates milestones and/or timelines, and tracks progress towards completion.
Provides specific functional expertise that is theoretical and conceptual in nature. This expertise is typically acquired through a combination of university education and experience within a field. May have responsibility for supervising others in the capacity of a "player coach" but primary focus is individual expertise. Particularly at higher levels, sophisticated subject matter expertise is a requirement for success.

Agile Engineering Best Practices
- Identifies and recommends improvements to the software development lifecycle and best practices in agile engineering.

- Develops the roadmap and guidelines for tailoring agile practices to a complex and dynamic software development project.
Project Management

- Keeps abreast of the progress of multiple projects within a program or across the department; coaches project managers to adjust priorities or timelines as needed.
- Monitors resource usage across projects or programs, identifying areas or synergy or redundancy and looking for ways to optimize efficiency.

**Skills & Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years of professional experience in software/IT with a focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning, including experience in a technical leadership or mentorship capacity.
+ Deep expertise in Python and ML libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
+ Strong understanding of machine learning methodologies including supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and model interpretability.
+ Proven experience leading end-to-end AI solution development from concept through deployment in production environments.
+ Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow) for model tracking, deployment, and lifecycle management.
+ Proficiency with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS), including their AI/ML services and infrastructure.
+ Hands-on experience with API development, containerization, and orchestration using tools such as Flask/FastAPI, Docker, and Kubernetes.
+ Applied knowledge of NLP, computer vision, or deep learning techniques is a strong advantage.
+ Good foundation in mathematics, statistics, and data mining techniques.

**What's Needed?**
+ At least 5 years of experience in software development and testing of enterprise or SaaS platforms.
+ Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript frameworks, SQL, and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
+ Experience building and extending test automation frameworks, libraries, and developer tooling.
+ Hands-on experience with automation and performance testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, NUnit/xUnit, or similar.
+ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or TeamCity.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, debug, test, and deploy new and existing applications
- Help to ensure that developed application solutions satisfy business and technical requirements and that standard testing procedures have been followed
- Design, construct, implement and support client-facing software that meets the business requirements
- Perform software construction, unit testing and debugging; software construction may include the preparation of new software, reuse of existing code, modification of existing programs, or integration of purchased solutions
- Interface with internal and external technical staff to define application solutions and resolve problems as needed
- Design and develop custom solutions in a SharePoint environment using SharePoint Object Model, C#.net, jQuery, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, SQL Server Stored Procedures, and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm's respectful and courteous work environment.
- Minimum one year of experience in .NET web application development.
- Bachelor's degree in from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in user interface and design of web based products.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Principles, Patterns and Practices and knowledge of Agile (Scrum) software development methodologies and leading practices.
