Position Summary
Adobe is seeking a Software Engineer to build the next-generation Web Application APIs for Adobe Analytics, Adobe's industry-leading analytics platform. The Adobe Analytics platform processes 20+ billion transactions daily and delivers reporting data to customers via a sophisticated data visualization interface. We participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including the architecture, design, development, & maintenance of the product. This position is based in our Lehi, UT, USA office within the Digital Marketing Business Unit of Adobe.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust web service APIs within our data retrieval platform used by various client applications.
- Gather technical requirements from multiple sources and improve existing strategies and techniques for visualizing and displaying data.
- Seek complex business and technical problems involving large-scale data aggregation and processing.
- BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or equivalent field
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be detailed and results-oriented
- Software development experience with RESTful services
- Object-oriented programming background in Java, C/C++, C#, or PHP
- Database programming knowledge including MongoDB and SQL databases

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $113,400 -- $206,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $133,900 -- $242,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Job Summary:
The Systems Software Development Engineer will focus on providing high-quality and efficient software and system solutions for small, unmanned aircraft and associated peripherals and accessories. This position requires experience with complex robotic or equivalent electromechanical systems.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot sensors and systems associated with drone operation (GPS, IMU, range finders, etc.)
- Work on projects in C, C++, and Python in a Linux-based development environment
- Design and implement experiments to explore new ideas and concepts
- Design and implement basic algorithms and state machines
- Perform low level debugging with logic analyzer or oscilloscope
- Assist with requirement definition, system architecture and documentation & block diagrams
- Work with vendors of sub-systems to debug complex technical problems (Eg. Radio or sensor provider)
- Support the hardware team with board bring up
- Analyze and plot data from drone flight testing
- Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field strongly preferred
- 6+ years' or equivalent experience delivering commercial-grade software for embedded systems
- 2+ years' experience working with commercial or military drones strongly preferred
- Experience in board bring-up and peripheral integration
- Expertise in C and/or C++ programming on embedded Linux, or similar systems
- Python, radio, networking and test development skills are assets
- Able and willing to travel to test sites as needed, using company vehicle (clean driving record is required)
