Toyota’s Enterprise Artificial Intelligence Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Artificial Intelligence Applications Engineer.

The primary responsibility of this role is to research and develop systems and platforms for enabling the use of Generative AI at Toyota Motors North America.

Reporting to the Principal AI Engineer, the person in this role will support the Enterprise Artificial Intelligence department's objective to enable new uses of Generative AI for Toyota Motors North America.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for AI applications within Toyota, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and driving transformative innovation across multiple business units.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or similar education in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Experience in AI engineering, with a proven track record of researching complex AI projects from conception to deployment.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Solid understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

  • Proven track record of successfully working in cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, delivering complex AI products from concept to market.

  • Understanding of machine learning and AI technologies, including familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
